That was more satisfying than the National Championship over Nebraska.

Maybe it’s because i was too young. Maybe it’s because now i appreciate things more. Maybe it’s because we slaughtered a bunch of racist scumbags.

I can’t explain it. All i know is that was the ******* best.

Cherish this.

It was much more satisfying because we knew for a fact that we were the best that year. It wasn't until the next year that we realized being the best wasn't always enough.

Naw. But it was as satisfying as the 20-0 beating we put on 'em that year. Feeling very '83 ish.

I agree.

Something to be said about being an underdog. Even by our own fans. Even by myself.

We ******* obliterated those ****suckers.

Its satisfying because of the team we just destroyed.....**** the hoe *** domers

This was huge and a seminal event in the program's return, but that Nebraska win was incredible, the Huskers were one of the dominant programs back then, obnoxious as ****. That was on a much bigger scale.

It’s not as historically relevant as that victory, but it announces that Miami can stand on the same stage as Bama or Clemson.

Look at it this way: there were dozens of recruits, many in the top flight, who were there tonight. They saw what we saw.

Let that sink in.

Don’t get me wrong.

Its not a “bigger” win.

But for me, personally, it’s better. That’s all.

It's great to live in the moment but the Rose Bowl was a way bigger moment.

Yeah, the racist scumbags with the black starting QB. "Elitist" I think would be a better term for Notre Lame.

The Nebraska win was bigger, for sure.

But this one tonight...well, I've been waiting to see this since 1990. So yeah, it was SWEET.

This wasn't a surprise.

We've been trending in this direction and, although there was external and internal doubt, a lot of people knew the potential this team has. Go back to the prediction threads from before the season started and you'll see a lot of 10-2s, 11-1s or 12-0 predictions. I think with Francois going down the 10-2s were fair, but this is exactly where a lot of people saw us.

Hopefully this win will silence the 'Richt can't call plays' and 'we need a new OC' narratives, because, what he's done with Rosier and the offense has been nothing short of amazing.
