Yost should be top candidate

I am not sure if Yost can help this undisciplined group... we need someone who will bring discipline along with creativity..

I love Yost but what relationship does he have with Diaz? Coaches generally don’t just hire people that they don’t know or have mutual colleagues with. Hopefully there was some good rapport back when Yost was at Mizzou and Diaz at Texas.

Seriously, if you’re Yost, why would you want to go down to Miami and work for a Dead Man Walking HC who is getting fired in 2021 just so you can be fired by the New Guy?
My pitch to Yost would be money (I’d offer 3yrs guaranteed at $1M per season, with additional bonuses for team and offensive performance), and the opportunity to work with some of the best athletes in CFB. A Miami program living up to its potential can compete with Clemson for the ACC title, a spot in the CFP, and a NC. History proves this. The program has a lot of issues at the moment but access to talent is not one of them.

Texas Tech will never win the Big 12 and will always be on the outside looking in for elite talent.

Yost could be the next Lincoln Riley if he is a key player in resurrecting The U.

It's not just discipline, but also stupidity. It's the perfect **** storm of ineptitude. Our players just aren't very smart. You notice how KJ looked like the only dude on the field that knew how to play football most of the year? Why is that? Because he's a smart football player. We simply don't recruit smart football players.

Yep. The reality is Manny will hire another pro style OC. He literally said the spread offense is not the Miami “brand”. Then when reporters question him on it he’ll pull out the “I don’t know what you mean by pro style; we want to be like the Kansas City Chiefs” quote.

Really not sure about this... We still haven't even made a move to get rid of the CURRENT OC.

Is Yost's stock down after this past year @ TT? I see they scored a lot of points but how did they do against their better opponents? They put up a lot of ypg.

Unfortunately this

Yost would be an absolute homerun hire that could possibly even save manny and blake from their own incompetence..which is precisely why it wont happen.

I'd make Yost tell me no. Then I'd call up Kevin Johns, Rhett Lashlee, and Warren Ruggiero and have them tell me no.

Then I'd settle for Rich Rod. I think at the very least, he would run a wide open offense and he's made enough mistakes in his career that he could tell Manny what NOT to do as a HC.

I'd tell Fedora to fvck off.

Get Yost and have him try to convince Jordan Love, his QB at Utah State, to give it one more try at Miami.

I’m shocked more people aren’t looking at this angle. Wasn’t that QB in the portal or rumored to be portal bound for a last year? Yost and him in 2020?

Not sure I want rich rod or fedora but rich rod does do well at an OC. Do not want as a HC

We double his salary. He’s a proven guy. He will land well on his feet if it doesn’t work out here.
