You were part of the conversation. Butt hurt, naw, just waiting to eat a plate of crow that does not look like it will be served. Well, okay, maybe butt hurt that the program is a joke yet again due to incompetence in hiring practices and incompetence in coaching and development. Mario has the keys to the kingdom, virtually everything needed to win, except the ability to do so. My concern when he was hired was the failure we have seen, and a potential reluctance to give similar support to the next coach as Mario was supposedly our savior, the supposed slam dunk hire, that knows Miami and what it takes to win.

For nostalgia, here are a few snippets of my comments prior to Mario being hired, please tell me where I was wrong.

Yes, Mario is supposed to be a great recruiter, but can he develop and game day coach the talent he brings in? I do not think so. At that point the talent leaves

The program will continue to be a joke if they cannot look beyond the UM coaching/player stump for candidates. It smells of a donation scheme rather than a commitment to winning. More of the old building champions BS.

No, I don't want to settle for the ugly girl with a bad attitude just so I have company. I never understand those that settle for less because they refuse to understand their potential. Be happy with 10 wins, GTFO, seriously? There was a time when the goal was national championships, anything else was failure.

If Mario cares about the program he will step aside. But for the next few years it looks like we will have to watch him try to push the square peg into the round hole thinking this time it will work.

No. I wasn’t making fun of you (in this instance lol), I was trying to give you something that made fun of Mario as a corch which ties into this thread you started. I’m happy to make what you want if I can.

Making fun of, no, having some fun, yes, I just wanted a better avatar and was mistaken with what I thought you offered. I like the Mario one, feel free to update it. Heck, I could care less as noted, but be creative.
