Yikes! Va. Tech is ranked in AP!

What the **** is this even about? The Orange Bowl doesn't care about the rankings in the AP or Coaches. The CFP rankings matter. Unless Clemson loses the ACC title game no ACC team but them will be ranked in that poll. Leaving the OB free to take whatever ACC team they want.

Love all the botched trolling in this thread. Calling people dumb on the internet is the best way to prove you're smart!

CFP committee has proven every year they don’t give a fugg about the coaches/AP polls. There’s more than likely going to be a 4-loss team going to the OB, and we’ll be the only one on a 5 game win streak. I like our chances if we can take care of business in a dominant fashion and Clemson dominates the ACCCG.

Kickers at the U allowed to happen.

Head coach and two of his coordinators too! Nevertheless it's all MOOT now. So let's cheer for Miami to finish out the season with THREE MORE wins!

Because a possible 9-4 season ain't too shabby for a FIRST time HC ( See that CornSUCKER head coach, for factual evidence. ). Especially the way the season started out and what not.

Why you so DELUSIONAL and all that. Miami WON'T be in the Orange bowl! Especially with a 8-4 record! dUh. And IF there were to be an ACC team, it would probably be a possible 9-3 Wake Forest team. hUh. Yes sir, even with a beat down, bytch slapping lost to mighty Clemson. hUh.

I think Pitt beats VT, but then Pitt will probably jump into the rankings since they have the same record (and technically counts as a win over a ranked team). I think it is extremely unlikely that no other ACC teams are ranked at the end of the season. Oh well. According to 247,

"It is pretty clear that the majority of projectors believe UM is either going to play in the Sun Bowl against a Pac-12 opponent or in the Music City Bowl against a SEC opponent." .

Canes should consider getting a timeshare in El Paso since they end up there so often.

Put money on a 4 loss team being in the Orange Bowl?

VT is playing at another level doubt they lose to Pitt but I think they may end up losing on the road to UVA and than UVA will be ranked and get slaughtered by Clemson in the ACCCG, that means Pitt, VT and UVA all lose at the end of the season and if Miami wins out Miami will have the same ACC record than UVA, VT or Pitt. The big question is so how far do they all drop if they lose ? how far can Miami climb destroying a FIU team that is 5-5 and a Duke team that is 4-6 ? LOTS of questions still left unanswered.
