I disagree regarding the VT game. He came out and played well in the first half until the last possession INT.

Rest of your post is a solid point. He has been really bad for long stretches of games.

The guy is a sub 60% passer.

I don't know why this was shocking to anyone, he finally had 4 bad quarters in a row.

Dude is frustrating as **** to watch and I put that loss on him above anyone else. But I'd still like to point out the positives.

Ice in his veins on the game winning drives vs FSU and Georgia Tech
Running plays vs ND made us impossible to beat
Running play vs Virginia to go up by 10 sealed the win

Kid has done a lot for us and I'm grateful for all he's done to get us to 10-1

This is true. It was palatable because of the comebacks which were only possible because the defense kept us in those games. Deep down I think most of us knew this type of game was coming. We just figured it would be against a better team than Pitt.

Not the entire VT game but the rest is on point

If Richt had more options at the position he would probably been a backup beginning the season or by now. Next years Ritch will have options at the position in Perry and Weldon. If those two are not ready I wouldn’t be surprised if he made a move at Eason or another transfer. But I doubt he puts up with Rosier inconsistency next year.

Eason would have to sit out a year, so he's not an option for 2018.

Bingo, point on, I am positive richt knows rosier is not good, but he has no choice right now, we saw that yesterday.

This sums it up a lot quicker than the long post I was going to make. Pitt executed the blueprint UVA used to almost beat us, but the D wasn't there to bail us out and we were exposed, Malik in particular. There is plenty of blame to go around but a lot of it can be traced back to a 44% completion percentage. Missing those throws had a trickle down effect that impacted time of possession, field position, not allowing Pitt to sell out on the run, etc.

God bless Malik for the F$U comeback and being under center for all those other wins, but there's plenty of evidence to suggest that we've won despite his limitations just as much as we have because he's a "gamer". Hope he rebounds and balls out next Saturday.
