Yesterday told me a couple things

Our defense is improved. Hate to admit it.

Offense is a complete joke. We have great talent on that side but play calling is embarrassing.

Uva will whip our ***.

Vt will destroy us.

Fsu will murder us.

I am not calling the defense improved until Nov or Dec - Remember, this time last year, we were fresh off of defeating UF and thinking that this team and defense was for real. It wasn't until later in the season that the team was exposed for what they were.

2 games means nothing.

I honestly believe that our defensive coordinator is the least bad corch on this staff. Let that sink in for a second.

Exactly. The talent on the defense has drastically improved, there is no question about that but there are still huge holes all over the place that good OCs will expose and if history shows us anything, our staff will do nothing to adjust.

This conservative playcalling bull sh¡t has golden written all over it, the louisville game was horriblely called on a offense standpoint, last night i was at the game and focused on the routes of the recievers, and there were good play routes and then there were some that scratched my head, hes playing more crossing routes which is all good and all but the QB needs to throw at the right time and read the D better, coley needs to do better easy first read plays, hes making kaaya scan the field too much, which isnt good with this O-line, he called a lot of aggressive plays last year even against savannah st, in this game it was more slants and crossing routes just like the louisville game, he just seems he is too affraid to call some plays down field, kaaya did miss a lot of recievers down field and threw some ducks on screen plays, the playcalling is too conservative they need to open up and they also need quick throws, easy first reads, quick hitches, quick slants, you know stuff you need to do when you have a crappy O-line and a inexperienced QB, just my thoughts on what i saw

LOL you are a tool. I agree with what you're stating here, but I negged you for stating Coley had good play calling last year when that is not the case. My statement about Morris was not that he was good or didn't have his own issues, but the fact that Coley's garbage playcalling didn't do him any favors and you staff supporters only would throw Morris under the bus and absolved Coley of all fault. Then you proceed to neg me back talking about Morris is on a practice squad, but then state the same thing I said when I negged you. Again, I didn't say Morris was a superstar, but he was done no favors by this coaching staff. Do you not understand that the play could be great, but if you set up the read progressions in a bad way, the play becomes trash, especially if you have a qb who isn't known for making great reads. That's one of my complaints from last year and you just stated its one of your complaints right now.

Exactly. To take anything positive from shutting FAMU down is foolish. It's a case of guys just looking for some glimmer of hope. FAMU is not only FCS; they're bad FCS. And they still had guys open for big plays. We should have had a dozen sacks against a team that bad that insisted on trying to throw the ball.
