yup and CMR has tried to do the best he could to get something out of the kid so he didnt have to use Rosier . The kid doesn't get it.

Neither Perry or Malik are the answer. I just hate that everyone dumps on Malik for the failing of the offense. Yes, he is the QB. but he isn't alone on that field. The kid gives 110% with the talent he has. and has more heart than alot of the other guys on this team. What should he do? Refuse to play? The other QBs haven't done what they need to do to play instead of him. JW hasn't really gotten the chance to even try.
And I have NEVER thought Perry would ever be the "guy" here. The handwriting has been on the wall as far as what is between the ears. Kid has amazing athletic talent but you need more at this level. And you can't blame the coaching for everything. If he doesn't get it after 16 months, he never will.
Just my opinion. The Malik bashing just makes me angry - for all his deficits in talent we all enjoyed the season he managed to have last year.

Spoiler alert, he will start and Richt will still defend his play calling while blaming it on lack of “execution”. Which makes sense that he puts in Maweak, since he is singlehandedly executing any hope this fan base had.

The Coaches are responsible to put the best product out on the field possible & they have vastly underachieved.
Richt is the OC & the de facto QB coach, it's his fault, but you guys don't want to hold him accountable & would rather blame the players (except for Malik) for his failures with this Offense.
Malik catches heat because you guys in the Cult go out of your way to make every excuse in the world as to why he's so bad. The old "he gives it his all", is a narrative that gets pushed out there to justify his poor play.
But this excuse ridden jargon is exactly why I hope he plays the rest of the season, for the Cult's sake you all deserve a Richt/Rosier disaster party.
The delusion in this fanbas has hit an all-time high, it's both sad & entertaining.
Stop making excuses for Mork and his son. Its year three and its called evaluation and research.
They didn't have to recruit any of the qb's they have on the roster. If he thought Weldon and Perry were knuckle heads through back ground research, guess what.... recruit someone else.
Mork and son have made a series of mistakes. They could have went after Jared Stitham, who is much more talented than Malik. Jack Allison doesn't fit the system... go recruit Jacob Eason harder or Tyler Huntley (who is playing much better than anyone on the roster but would probably suck here bc the play calling sucks)

Rosier is the worst qb in college football, a dlck as well and lies in post games interviews, doesn't take any blame.
But you are right it isn't his fault, he should have never been offered a scholarship, he did ok last year and it was good while it lasted, its a slap in the face to the team to keep running that guy out there

As far as I know, all he's done is post dumb schit on social media. That makes him a kid, not a moron. Malik did that as well. So has Dallas. And who knows what the greats would have posted back in the day before social media.
Go on YouTube and watch all of Perry's interviews. Seems like a polite young man trying to raise himself up from a rough upbringing, not a knucklehead. Your personal attack against him is unwarranted.

So how the eff are you supposed to call plays for Malaise Rosier? Of course the play calling is going to be garbage because he can't hit the simplest of passes. Even screens and quick slants are a 50/50 proposition. Even if by some miracle he hits on a pass, it's never in stride. Forget about out patterns, deep balls and working the middle of the field. If Rick calls those kind of plays, you're asking for 3 and outs all night or one int after another. Any semi competent DC is going to load the box to kill the running game and blitz the **** out of him on obvious passing downs. He ain't making anybody pay for that. Not happening. The play calling complaint is a limited one because Rick's options are limited. There is no team in college football that is easier to defend than a team with Malaise at QB. He makes me yearn for Gray Crow and Preston Dewey.
