College football is one of the few sports where a coach makes a HUGE difference.

I've been saying this for as long as I've been a fan. Our situation is a relatively quick fix, which makes the fact we have a coaching staff as bad as we do that much more frustrating.

If we get a competent coach this offseason, next season can be a relative quick turnaround. For the love of God we play in the ACC Coastal...if nothing else we'll be Coastal champs in year 1 with a 3rd year solid QB.

Let's hope the retards running our program come to their senses.

Mcelwain is a solid coach. He wasn't a big name hire but he did very well at Colorado state or whichever Colorado team it was. He's good and he's on the verge of upsetting the #3 team in the country in his first year.
