Stop tripping so much! The program is on a steady upward incline. We are an interior (Guard - Center - Guard) offensive line away from being a great team regardless of the QB or OC.

P.S. I got news for you, we will lose games almost every season, everybody does!!!! (saban has 1 undefeated season at bama and we have 3 in our entire history). Ride the wave and chillax!

I’m sorry, but losing to that VA team is inexcusable in Richts 3rd year. I was upset with the LSU loss, Wisconsin and Clemson but understood we still had some work to do and they had some good athletes. What I can’t accept is losing to the likes of VA and Pitt, and struggling to beat NC and Ga Tech. There is no way we should be losing to these teams with the way our defense has been playing. This offense is a disaster and is not IMPROVING!!! If anything Its getting worse!! If you think we’re winning out with this offense your smoking dope.

Every loss feels bad no matter who it is too. Though the mopes and trolls around here have grown to a huge level while they just vomit all over the place about them non stop. This is suppose to be about fun an escape from everyday life. Not about how the people who are miserable and want to spread that to everyone should have some constant voice. We get it, the coach of the year from last year should be fired, the entire staff should be fired, every recruit should be kicked out, and after the scorched earth policy whatever your pet coach is who is 2-11 every year will come in and turn things around. You don't have to repeat it over and over again.

Disclaimer, the you, your, and etc in here to not directly relate to the poster I quoted. I have no idea if that poster is part of the mope/troll crowd or not. The score card is hard to keep up with and I am already sad that at this point I have put in enough brain cells to know a couple of the mope/trolls by memory at this point. That little bit of memory is more than those few are worth.

Losing to a competitive team will happen, so I get being tired of the whining. However, when the problem is systemic, the fans should voice their concern. Just like with the last regime, we have a systemic problem here.

If that is how you feel then fine. If you all get what you want I think we are going to get an an over all worst coaching group and be in a worst spot, but then you can continue the cycle. Though can you all do us a favor and contain it to a few threads? I think every thread in both "Eye in The Sky" and "The Recruiting Board" is now going to be you (not necessarily you in particular, but those who align with you) crying about this loss. Even if we win out the rest of the games and get most or all the recruits we want. This board is still just going to be one festering Canes Tears.

I would not be "happy" about any loss but losing to a team with similar if not more talent in understandable. I don't expect to beat every top ranked opponent but I do expect to beat bad teams like Virginia. I consider myself an even keeled fan. I don't flip out over losses and want to fire every coach. I do hold our staff accountable though. As the head coach and offensive coordinator (I don't care about Brown's title. It's Richts offense) I expect Mark Richt to do a better job than what we've seen. Especially what we saw on Saturday. I don't expect undefeated championships but I expect to beat bottom tier ACC opponents.

The evidence of on-field performance to date suggest that the trajectory for the offense has at least hit its upper asymptote bound. So the question becomes what is the probability and supporting evidence that Richt will turn the offense around and take it to a championship level?

Keep in mind, there are issues on offensive line and glaring deficiencies on special teams as well that a Head Coach needs to hold others and be held accountable for as well.

None! This a repeat of Al Golden’s defensive woes. Al made no changes on defense and kept getting the same results. Richt is doing the exact same thing. This offense is not going to improve until Richt steps away from the offense and that’s not going to happen. We’re fqd.

Oh cmon... u know as soon they beat BC it’ll be all rainbows and glitter again. Until they lose again, at which point the world will end all over again.

That’s just part of fandom.

My dog is blind and even he knew Malik sucked. I remember when I asked him what he thought about the new qb all he could say was “rough”.

I am still waiting for the crying from the LSU game to stop. So I know the one from this game isn't going away either.
