Yeps, when a program declines and loses to the (others) directional diploma mills....it does suck. Did a single player from KY make a play last night?
 
This thread was typical of spring, fall, and pre-game hope inspired by thinking with heart rather than head.

As I said in this thread, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand why they were confident. They shut down our run game, rattled BK, and to top it all off....we played to not lose. Stupid, really stupid.
 
If it were not for the terrific Miami fans that made the trip (lots, btw) I would think you were all a bunch of hate spitting jerks that this thread and others represents. My group tailgated next to and farther down from 3 groups of Miami Fans. We shared beer, ribs and good will. To a person they enjoyed visiting our "assfvck town or shythole school" and were impressed with the things they saw, city wise and campus wise.

As for the game: Our 3 stars outplayed your 4-5 stars (again). Duke Johnson Didn't save you, while Perryman was impressive and will play on Sundays, and he was the consistent name being announced for tackles. We more often ran right over him than any damage he did to us. One of 24 3rd down conversions in the last 2 games?? Not a lot of room to talk smak.

Come on, stop with the hate. I'm pretty sure Howard would be embarrassed. Howard is a treasure to both of us. Lets respect him.

If it were not for the great fans who were at the game, I'd have a completely negative impression of Miami fans.

Yeah... Well after reading through this thread as well as others I just want to wish the Canes the best. Despite the irony, displaced hate, and aggression directed towards our fans and program I think most Louisville fans know exactly what your program is going through right now. After Petrino first left UofL we were stuck with a coach much like yours that was just way in over his head. We were just lucky that the AD made the necessary changes that were needed to get a winner back in control of the program. Charlie was a breath of fresh air to our program and I think a new and exciting coach is all Miami needs to regain some of its former glory. Hopefully by the next time we meet in football a few years down the road Miami will have regained some of that old swagger back.

BTW... I know you don't care, and I know you probably want me to "Eat **** and die" or something along those lines but I just want you to know that I just can't be angry with ya for all those bad things you guys said. Good luck to your program!!!

I wouldn't worry about the comments Card fans.

Miami fans, not all but a good many of them have that NY attitude about places other than Miami. It's basically, if you aren't from Miami, you aren't ****.

It's rather silly at times, but what can you do. Your team won and did so convincingly. Congrats.

To the poster who tailgated with some of our fans, the road people tend to be the best of the bunch.
 
Not backhanded, and for the most part not trolling, but really can you blame us in a thread like this? Many Card fans have a great respect for Miami, and most if not all will cheer for your team when playing any other team not named UofL. We are also smart enough to realize the ACC needs a strong Miami to strengthen and balance out the SOS of the conference. Hope your fans that came up had a good time despite the outcome of the game.

Thanks INCane, I appreciate your voice of reason. Like I said, despite the outcome of the game. The fine Miami fans and many of my group shared bourbon, reheated Brats while the hour long wait for after game traffic to clear. I know your guys were sad/disappointed/****ed even, but 20 minutes in, we were all laughing like old friends. It's part of the tailgating experience here. Our boards tends not to tolerate 'Shut the **** up, fa-got', 'Eat **** and die' just because that's not us. Yes we have our a-holes but you'll see that they are pretty quickly group balls-kicked by the others.

I haven't seen any backhanded compliments from us. If there are I'm sure they weren't intentional. We need Miami to be good, Are we jerks because we won? I originally wanted to write to comment on the cool people we met in person. The rule for us is unless you are not from the SEC 1-10 powerhouse school 70 miles east of us, everybody is cool. It's a game, Celebrate or learn from it. However, we have given ourselves permission to actively smear anything that a Kentucky fan might say. It's worth a few minutes to browse https://kentucky.rivals.com. You can hear the lack of teeth and the severe lack of mental acuity in their written posts. We've won more SEC games in the past 3 years than they have.

Point is.. I'm glad we won, but on the other hand we need Miami to be strong and are honored to share the ACC with you. We don't bother to give UK backhanded compliments, They have earned the vile things we say about them. You haven't, You guys are the 'U' and we are pleased to be in any conversation with you. With that, Best of luck for the rest of the season. You guys have the talent to kick a$$. So do it!
