Y’all going to hate this interview

Idk if it’s been posted but shout out to Devon Perry leaving that podcast and being a true cane.

I agree, it was interesting. Sounds like a lot of deeper **** was going on, more than most would have a clue about. I know y'all have this ****** and I do to, but he still had some interesting things to say.
I could make up a bunch of interesting **** to tell you, but that doesn’t make it true.

To trust a guy convicted of a crime that literally is centered around lying is the epitome of being gullible. But glad you found it interesting

The fact that we have huge swaths of our "Fanbase" backing Shapiro and a half assed podcast giving him a platform, knowing full well that he was willing to burn our program and alma mater to the ground, because he got busted running a PONZI SCHEME, is proof that we have some of the worst fans in sports, bar none.

Shapiro pulls this in Tuscaloosa, Athens or even Gainesville, dude isn't getting on podcasts, dude is likely moving far, far away from the school, because someone may give him lead poisoning. I'm not saying shooting the guy is justified, but they wouldn't be lining up to hear him lie about stuff either. It's almost like there are a ton of Miami fans that actively HATE the University and will support anyone that tells them what they want to hear.

Thats an easy conclusion to reach even before this thread, and now reading the praise and support he’s getting here just reaffirms it.

This guy is a natural born liar, convicted fraudster - not a single word he speaks can be believed, yet we have people literally backing him in this thread. Giving credence to a subhuman pos who literally tried to destroy the program.

Thats not hyperbole.

He literally tried to destroy the program. Said so himself. Thats the only thing I will believe that he’s said. But let’s give him some love, attention and credence.

From a journalistic standpoint, I am glad he did an interview, there were a lot of interesting notes, probably some hyperbole, and intriguing answers to some of the questions.

Nevin is no different from Ruiz, time will probably show that... one just did his deeds when it was legal.

Wow. Just wow.

Your name is fitting. You’re a confused dude.

Alright man, when the fraud charge inevitably falls, I will come find you and you can tell me what you think. Watch the interview...
He's a trashy conman that bilked numerous victims out of enormous amounts of money, who lied about a lot of things including his level of involvement in the UM program and intentionally tried to destroy it after he got butthurt because they wouldn't give him the treatment he felt he deserved. He was a hanger-on who multiple people outside of the program confirmed would insert himself into their circles and insist on paying for things so he could play Mr. Bigshot. He's a con man who the highly experienced FBI agent who specializes in financial crimes said was the most natural and expert liar he ever came across. Shapiro is trash.

Seriously?

Yes.

And telling us how the interview was "entertaining" and whatnot.

Look, we could pay a comedian to go on one of these podcasts to tell lies about Miami athletics and it would be "entertaining". Billy Corben cracking a few jokes is "entertaining". David Samson bragging about all the bad things he's ever done is "entertaining". Luther Campbell talking about the good old days is "entertaining".

As Nancy Reagan taught us, "Just Say No".

But, nope, we've got some rocket scientists who INSIST on touching a hot stove because they are too stubborn to avoid burning themselves.

"From a journalistic perspective...."

Lol. Ba-su-ra.

You are so completely full of ****. "One just did his deeds when it was legal". So wrong on so many levels.

"A lot of interesting notes". "Intriguing answers to some of the questions". Bull****. Nevin is a proven serial liar, nothing he says has any credibility.

Exactly. You’re all dead to me. Go read sports illustrated too. Maybe call in to finebaum. Donate to Florida and ND.

It's one thing to butt heads with Canes fans... and sometimes the lines get blurred.

But it should be very ******* easy to draw a line here.
Exactly. I opened this thread expecting that this one was "issue" that we all could agree on, and rejoice in saying "**** Nevin Shapiro"

But alas, you have a few white knight, above-the-fray, ***-clowns.

Probably the same posters who consider FSU "our brothers."
