Xavier Restrepo - "You're either with us or against us". Love it!

Really love the second half of the quote and the call-out.

We've heard the,"you're either with us or against us" stuff at Miami forever—"us against the world"; all that.

A committed recruit calling out the other guys who play games in order to build their personal brands—that's where college football recruiting has gone off the rails.

It was bad enough when guys were playing three card monte with a few hats on a stage a decade ago, but the way social media has given each of these guys their own channel—while allowing fans to @ them about everything; it's become a joke.

Miami needs Miami-style kids; not social media game-players. Yes, having a social platform and personality are good things—and had there been Instagram back in the 1980's or 1990's, hard to think guys like Irvin, Bratton, Hill, Sapp or Lewis wouldn't have done their thing on there.

It's these high school kids that haven't played a lick of college ball yet—big-headed because of the ***-kissing on the recruiting trail; enough of that.

Miami is a different beast. It's not for everybody, but when you get back to a team full of guys who have that, "It was Miami and nobody else" type attitude—that's when the Canes will have their on-brand competitive advantage again.
