Meant to post this earlier. I had no idea how hopping Wynwood had become. We visited when we came down to catch the UNC game. I ate vegan tacos at Kush and my brother had the fish sandwich. The whole area seems like a fusion of culture and food from all over the world.

For the locals, what do you think about Wynwood? Favorite spots? How’s it work with the neighborhood? I saw Booker T Washington was only a few blocks away.

Been jumping for years, there was huge investment about to be poured in but then pandemic happened.. The artist phase of wynwood has come and gone but the disney world commercial version still exist.. Its still a vibe and you can have a great time, most locals would probably go there before the beach which I dont even know what phase its in now.. Enjoy and dont get lost. Not sure if you local but always cover your six in miami, you can be in nice area one second and a block away it can get rough..

Nothing bad but rather add that and enjoy..

Brick is the only place I would hit consistently. Dukunoo & House of Mac have decent food but there's a million better restaurants out there.

When I'm in the mood to go out nowadays, I mostly hit the casino or go to a lounge somewhere. I used to be a strip club guy but after the Hennessy Marie situation I'm good on strip clubs forever. Most of the nightlife options in Miami are actively fighting against having black people in their establishment or are TOO hood & a body will be caught by the time Dreams & Nightmares/Bullseye 2 comes on

Wynwood has been mainstream for a minute now. All the new people from NY and Cali eat it up. Used to work there years ago and still fun to stop by on occasion.

Hold on, I heard about the hennessy marie stuff but what that got to do with strip clubs?! Aint no way he/she was "dancing" there.. Maybe hookah or something, I refuse to believe that, that might be grounds for lawsuits, lol.. We got alot of lawyers on this board, lol

supposedly was dancing at the strip club up my way ...Playhouse (Avery Huff, Thad Franklin, Phil Dorsetts neighborhood)

Wynwood is still popping.

The gentrification has essentially came as there is now a FOOT LOCKER on the strip but its still cool to hang.....

COYO TACO, NIGHTMARE OWL COOKIES, BRICK IS STILL THERE....DUNKANOO FOR JAMAICAN....

MY MAN CLOSED WOOD TAVERN WHICH WAS THE SH**T...HE STILL HAS MIAMI MOJITO COMPANY THOUGH BUT WOOD TAVERN WAS A VIBE.

GONE ARE THE DAYS THOUGH WHEN WYNWOOD WAS ALWAYS MY KEPT SECRET AND I WOULD BE IN THE SPOTS CHASING THE SMAE SKIRTS WITH A LIT AQM who was always by himself lol

That Hennessey Marie shlt is fūcked up anyway. I don’t follow it that closely but couldn’t people tell at some point “she” wasn’t as advertised.
