@Memnon what's your verdict? Should we be taking a hard look at this kid?

Absolutely.

He played really well against Texas, Texas ST, UAB & Auburn.

He's a big bodied Box/Rover Safety that does a good job in run support. Physically he's built like a LB, but has enough fluidity to play Deep Third coverage Shells, as well as lineup in Nickel.

He wouldn't be a starter per se if we land AJ Haulcy, but as the backup in the 2-deep at Strong & having the versatility to play Nickel would make him a valuable depth add.

So I thought JUCO also and that would be ideal for us with the passing of the JUCO eligibility ruling, but I think he was D2 first which negates that. Don't know how all that works tbh. Makes me less excited for the pickup because his 2/3 of his experience is against flaming bags of dog **** but decent depth is decent depth. And he's solid on tape from my eye test.
