What's funny is I'm in PA… And we joke that your roads are 1000x better than ours. As soon as you cross the borders into Ohio it's smooth sailing. Not making that up.

TAMU has gotten like 1 kid from there lol..

OSU has been getting kids from sta since cris carter was coaching there n sending them some though.

Overall through the years sta is one of our pipeline schools weve likely landed the most from there.

+ Most kids from sta are from a different demographic though...
-THEY TYPICALLY ARE REALLY BROWARD KIDS.. (Your not from here but Broward n Dade arent on thee same page lol theres a culture sh*f t when you cross county line and T its not a given someone from Fort Lauderdale would be a um fan
- Alot of their kids also are legacy nfl kids or legacy sta kids of guys who played in college meaning no allegiance to UM (Wyatt Smith, Bosas, Julius Jones)
- Sometime they are strong at a spot that we arent recruiting or we prioritize different.

For exAmple int his class we truly only recruited 1.5 kids from there Mark Matthews and Gamble a bit.

Matthews chose txam for his reasons, and we landed our priority cbs we have above Gamble.

If we wanted we could of landed a um legacy just for the sake of landing an sta kid in Carey the cb committed to osu.

The 2 DL blood brothers on FSU extort the Noles literally all the time. If 2 major contributors are a year apart, it can be a problem. Not sure who remembers Bryce and Arthur Brown.

The way DJ has run his recruitment, I’d have half a mind to drop him if I were OSU. Man up and decommit but hiding behind his little brother as a shield to take visits is just bs. I’d much rather a dude like Wyatt who you know will be locked in

They probably feel more comfortable culturally than they would in Miami or Atlanta. I don’t care where someone is from, as long as they are family when they get to UM. My guy Rusty Medaris was from Ozark, MO, I believe and he was loved and beloved.

Our roads are by far the worst. Coincidentally theres always road construction everywhere 🤬
 
This guys pops was a cot dayum savage and a **** of a player. I didn’t know he was Justin smiffs kid. No wonder he didn’t want to go to UM. Kid is more than likely pure kuntry lol.

Justin smiff was a really really good college and pro player
