So we beat the #3 team by 40 and dropped a spot

Texas A&M leapfrogged us after beating a team by 1 point (because ND got cute at the end) when we beat the same team by 7. We also beat USF last week who was ranked #3 by this same clown. Our other win was against a boy scout team. ATM's other wins - over Utah State and UTSA, who BOTH scored over 20 against them. ND is the only team to score over 20 on us thus far. It's not even about our ranking; it's about the complete lack of logic and reason.

Lots of metrics have A&M as top Strength of Record team today.

Think we are getting way more credit for the USF win being a blowout than the close 3pt ND win at home. Especially after they lost to A&M at home. A&M also gets more credit for that win than us cause they did it on the road by 1pt. Home field is usually worth around 3pts. And it’s not like our stats from the ND game were all that great, specifically offensively.

FSUs win against Bama is the most dominating win against a good opponent this season, onjevtively. No matter how you look at it Bama has a top 10 roster in terms of talent and got killed. Most other top wins have been close this yr. UGA win in OT. LSU had multiple close wins…

The only major outlier imo on this is Oregon being that low. Even though they’ve plaid an *** schedule they’ve blown teams out and are a top 10 talent roster.

As more games are played these type of rankings get better.
