Wtf is with these ESPN 3 blackout maps?

Why would Miami vs NC State be blacked out in New York? They did the same **** for Miami vs Pitt. What's going on with these guys? They expect us to fly to the games?

I would think they are blacked out if the "split" games are actually on TV there.

This one is on YES Network.

Sounds like the reason. It's so stupid though. Blacking it out just makes it annoying for people to watch what they want to watch. I'm still going to get around your blackout, it's just a nuisance. Wish cable companies would just accept that and give the customers easy access to what they want.
