i will never forget when my friend who played at UM during butch and coker years said to me when golden was hired "WTF is an Al Golden?" Penn St., VA, BC, this will never work. I for a few years defended golden but he saw me the other day and said "Was I right from the beginning or what?" SMH.

Your friend was right. I applaud those that were never duped by Gorlden's sheen.

He sure had me, hookers lines and stinkers for quite a while.
 
I got into a debate with my high school math teacher my senior year about this. He said I would be wrong about Golden because he was the man for the job. Smh.

he didnt play much. i knew a starter from those years too. My friend always use to make fun of me like "You think this guy
will make it work" he did say he got guys like irvin and ray lewis to support him but he thinks its more of a UM thing.
He obviously loves Butch but he said he thinks Chud is a great choice to be next coach, players love him. He said he just
thinks he will have the NFL bug. Not big on cristobal. said his fav coach at UM was Greg Mark.
