WTF Adidas?

Why are you so cranky?

None of those links are "threads on this board". There are two 12-year-old articles, and one bull**** line of propaganda written by a know-nothing undergrad who was fed all her information from the Athletic Department.

Cool, man. Well, I'm sure if Nike offers us what Adidas does or more we'll jump on it. It's not like Phil Knight would be ****ed at Mario and hold a grudge.

Yeah, Phil Knight is "****ed" at Mario for moving back to SoFla when one of his parents was not doing well. Sure. That's how smart businessmen operate.

And Oregon has been TERRIBLE under Dan Lanning, right?

Sure, Phil Knight is going to "hold a grudge" after being stuck with Lanning...

Wow. That's great insight. Appreciate the schooling. Hopefully we do get back to Nike, but the stuff I'd seen online suggested we're gonna re-up with Adidas for the money. 🤷‍♂️ learn some new **** everyday.

F Adidas
For millions of reasons. Literally.
🤮
They don't want us. They had the opportunity to match and they declined. Contract is coming up again, and likely going to be the same outcome. Miami makes a lot more with Adidas. There's at least one thread on the board that covers it in detail.
Who would actually want adidas over Nike??? Nike is worth more paying us less. Big boost in brand appeal, merchandising and recruiting. I literally will not buy a Toney jersey because I don’t want that 3 stripe logo.

Some of you need to be able to separate the fact that Miami is playing in their hometown from the reality of business and CFB. This was happening regardless of who IU was playing, not to mention it's his home as well.

How much difference in millions per year do you think it’s worth taking Nike over Adidas?
$1M/yr? $10M yr? What number… that’s what’s important.

I don’t know what the number is but whatever it is, our brand appeal is significantly higher with the swoosh over the 3 stripe. That helps with merchandising and marketing appeal to recruits as well.

Our biggest issue is being in the ACC. After that, we need to lose adidas.

Where’s our billboard in our own city where we are playing for the title and we’ve been adidas’ longest running partnership???

Yall really turned this into a nike vs adidas thread. Haven’t you adidas heads taken enough of a beating over the years? Now you’re in favor of adidas posting a billboard of our opponent in our own city….. but so far no one has seen one for the hometown canes

You guys never change 🤣 it’s good for the laughs. I just hope like **** that the admin/AD decide to move on from this **** hole partnership

I think we have a better chance of losing Adidas before getting out of the ACC

Don't you guys see the beauty in all of this? I hope they put up 1000 Indiana billboards all over town and ZERO for us. More fuel for our fire. Players, fans, everyone is taking note and it just adds to the underdog narrative. Did you guys see the Indiana billboard in south florida that congratulated them as national champs? If we win, I wouldn't be surprised if one of our players mentions this.
