That's my point. These thoughts are secondary to his ability as an actual coach.

The whole "winners get the hot chick" speech, if he truly believes that, means he'd jump at a marquee program like UM. You can win games at Houston; you can win National Championships at UM. If he's really truly a winner he'd jump at a good UM offer.

Chud was offensive coordinator for our last national title and has spent 10+ years honing his craft in the NFL.

Herman was offensive coordinator for Ohio State.

Why is Herman a better candidate?

What did Butch do before Miami? No HC experience, but coached under JJ.
Herman before Miami--HC experience, OC for Meyer...
 
thom herman gets UM culture better than Golden. this guy sounds like a young jimmy johnson
