Written by Herman. Dude is a savage.

But winning is not supposed to matter to me? I don't know if I'll ever be able to grasp that. Forget the awards. You should want to be the best at whatever your chosen field is. I want my kids to win. Winners get the corner office, the big house, the hot wife, the whole nine. I said that at commencement. Then I said that the people who don't win, they get cubicles, the hoopty ride, the not-so-hot wife.

The best part about that article is that the branding and off the field acumen is really just a supplement to being known as a technical football guy. He's likely to succeed wherever he goes.

All coaches say or write something similar. Can they get it done?

That's my point. These thoughts are secondary to his ability as an actual coach.

The whole "winners get the hot chick" speech, if he truly believes that, means he'd jump at a marquee program like UM. You can win games at Houston; you can win National Championships at UM. If he's really truly a winner he'd jump at a good UM offer.

Butch aint coming. Not sure why people are so obsessed.

You don't know that.

People are obsessed with Butch because Butch is a Proven Commodity....not some wishful whipper snapper!

He hasn't done anything yet?

Chud was offensive coordinator for our last national title and has spent 10+ years honing his craft in the NFL.

Herman was offensive coordinator for Ohio State.

Why is Herman a better candidate?

Everyone loved Chud when he was the OC here.
