WR options?

It’s time this team gets a deep threat. Back 2 back seasons with no deep threat. For how good Restrepo and Toney were/are they still aren’t stretching the field vertically. Restrepo was so good at finding that open space and sitting in it.

It doesn’t list 3 specific schools lol

LyfeStyle Sports Agency President of Operations Latish Kinsler tells On3 he is expecting a lot of interest for his client Quincy Porter, once the former Ohio State receiver is officially in the Transfer Portal. On3’s Hayes Fawcett broke the news earlier Wednesday that Porter plans on going in.

Kinsler added that the likes of “Washington, Michigan, Notre Dame, Miami, Tennessee, South Carolina, UCLA and Auburn” are schools where there is expected to be interest. The Wolverines were one of the finalists for Porter during his high school process.

Once Porter is in the transfer portal he will quickly setup a visit. He is looking for a place where he can be “receiver No. 1 and showcase himself in that manner.”

Kinsler added the 6-foot-4, 210-pound Porter won’t take many visits before deciding his next landing spot.

The On3 Industry tabs Porter as the No. 5 receiver in the Transfer Portal and No. 30 prospect overall.

Porter played high school football at Oradell (NJ) Bergen Catholic, where he was a five-star prospect. He was the No. 22 overall recruit in the 2025 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Only two wide receivers were ranked ahead of Porter. Oregon‘s Dakorien Moore was one of them, followed by Kaliq Lockett of the Texas Longhorns.

Rivals was higher on Porter than the rest of the industry. He came in as the No. 13 overall prospect in the Rivals300. Only one other service ranked him as a five-star. Expectations for what Porter can become certainly are high.

In this true freshman campaign during the fall Porter caught four passes for 59 yards.
looks like his agent is a relative of our current player Bruno Kinsler (OT) and also his agent as well.
Also appears to be the same agency that did ACE BAILEY the basketball player in thios years draft. lol

We should have a real running “played too many games” list that we track….

Didn’t this dude play a lot of game? And I’m not talking about just choosing another school or there being a nil bidding war type thing. Like imo Jeremiah Smith didn’t play games… but these dudes that do usually end up porting sooner than later especially when they need development. They think they can play games and deserve to just be given PT. Then they show up and dont outwork everyone, and end up porting

I can see Michigan ponying up to get Underwood some more help to pair with Marsh.

His agent, Latish Kinsler, told 247Sports the rapid response with Porter entering the portal has been a lot, but there were several programs making it known that he is a wanted commodity.

"Michigan, they are there," Kinsler said. "Washington is there. LSU, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Oklahoma and Virginia Tech. And Wisconsin as well."

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Porter is not expected to make many visits giving the timing of his portal entry, and the recruiting calendar.
