WR Coach options

We aren't going to hire a QB coach.
If there's a "qb" coach it's Jon richt

Jon Richt's title is "Offensive Assistant."

yes, but he can be unofficial QB coach, or Assistant QB coach, and Daddy coach the QBs.

Richt made it very clear at his firing press conference that he was going to coach QBs and call plays if he got another job. Of course, his son will help him. But he's not the QB Coach.
that's why he's an "offensive assistant"

I would like somebody like Zach Azzanni

Coached Antonio Brown, Bryan Anderson

Hired by Urban Meyer is the recruiting coordinator at Tennessee has coached six conference championships. I think he's coached at least 10 players who have signed NFL contracts...I think it's way more, but the guy totally develops pro receivers and with his recruiting skills we would do extremely well.

Azzanni is another guy I like. Proven coach and great recruiter.

Azzanni receivers have done nothing at Tennessee. But im thinking that is a function of their QB
He's got an impressive resume.. Would be a solid hire.

Don't hold your breath on guys like Azzanni who already have jobs at P5 programs. Seems like we are grabbing unemployed assistants. Let's hope the next unemployed pick up is "Crazy Eyes" Ivey.

so who's the assistant HC? Searels? Scott(if he's retained)?Kuligowski?

not that the position seems to matter too much anymore

Isn't that what I said? Richt's title isn't going to be HC/OC/QB. It's going to be HC.

Hartley will probably be the recruiting coordinator and Larry Scott will probably be the AHC

With his run in with NCAA making it unlikely; I'd love for us to take a look at David Kelly previously at UCF

Kevin Beard has the option to interview for the job supposedly. I think he would be a good hold over.

Go Canes

How about Ron Dugans?
He is coaching WRs at USF and before that stint worked for Strong at UL.
Anyone know if he's a good recruiter and/or coach?
I mention him because he played for Richt at FSU.

Louisville turning football success into recruiting prowess - SBNation.com

The second important development for Louisville has been the emergence of Ron Dugans as an ace recruiter. Having success in Florida isn't new for the Cardinals or Charlie Strong, but until this year, the majority of the wins have come in south Florida and the Miami area. With Clint Hurtt on leave, Ron Dugans has picked up the slack in north Florida and the Jacksonville area in particular. Dugans has been instrumental in the commitments of De'Eric Culver, Isaiah Ford, DeSean Blair, Jeff Williams and George Rushing. His success has helped offset the loss of Hurtt, who may not return, depending on the outcome of his NCAA infractions case.

The plan was Lilly and McClendon as CO-OC's.

When they said no, Thomas Brown was offered CO-OC.

I assume the WR coach will get the CO-OC gig.
