Apologies for any inconvenience**** I thought today was going to be the day
**** I thought today was going to be the day
Good point.Yeah… me too
Hankerson won’t be anyone’s Brian hartline unless there’s a prolific offense running in the background is my point
Never understood the addae hate, i think he’s one of our best coachesIf its based on start rating only, then there are no lies told.
1. Miami sucks at evaluating talent and are offering and bringing the wrong kids onboard.
2. The recruiting services don't know what they are doing and overrate the players Miami is bringing onboard.
3. The development at Miami has been lacking for some time. Production on the field and in the NFL is near mid to late 90's levels before Botch came back.
4. A mixture of the three above.
Fixes put in place -
1. Expand the size, scope, and capacity of the scouting department. Bring in a long-time NFL scout to help form and run the organization. The offers being sent out today are usually for kids who are being recruited by the best programs (no-brainers) or Miami is early in on kids who blow up later in the cycle (Horton, Cooper, and McCoy come to mind).
2. Modernize the schemes at Miami to fit with football in both the NFL and the NCAA. This helps with development.
3. Hire younger coaches who can identify talent and teach. For all of the **** Addae got last year, he's done a great job of bringing the youngsters along. Long-term, his recruiting will get him canned, but for now he's developing at a good pace.
Keeping it 200Bull**** list. Look at where our guys get drafted. Late and later… if at all. If we should be on a list or anything, we should be on a **** “misevaluating talent” list. That’s what we’ve been doing more of than anything in the last 20 years.
WTF can't this dude just make hires like the rest of the coaching world?
You can’t hire Kevin Beard.
why not if he is elite at coaching wrs?.
Go Paladins lol, although no one great ever came from there. If Beard is the guy he needs to motivate his fellow alum Jacolby GeorgeI am mystified by all the antagonism toward my fellow Plantation Colonel Mr. Beard.
This site has more fan fiction than a lord of the rings convention.Mario's just that guy. If not for his wife Cristobal's kids would spend Christmas morning alone under the tree while Mario painstakingly decides which giftwrap paper to use, coordinating with optimally coordinated/matching ribbons and bows.
It is called synergy. Top play caller at a program that was strong in NIL before NIL, combined with an excellent WR coach with NFL pedigree, putting elite recruits into the NFL. It isn't either ... or ... it is the total impact of the variables.@407cane is right on this as well as @Dwinstitles. Hartline is a part of it but he is not the one who started it. What started it is the same thing that happened with the Bama receivers as well. They got paid and they went to those schools and once one or two ball out that school gets a rep. Same thing has happened with us just the opposite direction unfortunately with WRs. The train keeps rolling easier after it gets started.
