His family did not move to San Fran and are located in the Southern part of Miami. I know this with absolute certainty.

I’ll reiterate what I said previously in this thread or another. He absolutely wanted the job before going to San Fran.

There is also the idea that maybe he prefers to coach in college where he can work with guys and help them develop rather than what a pro coach does.

Nope still a bad call. Just because something worked does not mean it was a good call. You had a QB who was playing really well at the time and had driven the offense putting them in position to win. You keep the ball in Kaaya's hands.

All I can tell you is that I know he really wanted the job last time around. Granted, this was before the 49ers hired him, maybe things have changed. I have not spoken with the family in a few months so I could not say either way.

I’ve given him **** for it but it was wide open. DC could also spin it pretty well. Bigger issue was in-game adjustments. Great scripter. Poor adjuster.

Hard to imagine he's going to take a position coach job here after he was gunning for OC. I'd be hesitant if I were Mario if he accepted a lower role. Smells of a potential staff clashing.... and after last year....

Right. If u run a trick play there, IN THOSE CONDITIONS, u let the guy that’s used to throwing the ball, throw the ball. U run the Gattass special…. flea flicker.
