Now that Jeudy reaffirmed his commitment to Bama and Pete saying yesterday that Smith was essentially a long shot (in regards to him feeling more confident on Jeudy coming to Miami as opposed to Smith), who does the staff turn to now? Is there a marquee WR prospect we can still grab?

I wouldn't reach for another JAG.

Not ideal at all but take Njoku and Harley, call it a day.

Agree with this. Njoku seems to be a good prospect with the speed he has at his 6'6 height. And Harley is a burner. Take these guys and the 2018 WR class is where Miami will get the bigger fish at WR.

Not sure you can be comfortable going into a season with 7 WRs again.

I think we'll be surprised with njoku, he looks to have gotten a lot better this past year and he's tall as $&?@ so if he plays big it'll be a huge help

Derrick Smith just committed to the Canes. Not sure if he's coming to be a WR or not

Can you catch?

Get harley call it a day unless some wideout emerges that wants to explore options, man we need to hit on wideout and DT next class badly, this class really set us back in terms of wideout, need pope and xavier here

We need dudes to play, so leaving it at 2 isn't a great option. It's not ideal, but go out and find a fast guy and hope you can teach him to catch, or a slow guy who can catch. Never know when one of these guys will pan out, and we've got plenty of room on the team.

Flat out miss by the staff with regard to WR class. Dugans recruiting has not lived up to the hype so far.

"We'll be fine, bro. 2018 is loaded in South Florida."

"Y'all are sleeping on Berrios, bro."

"We'll be fine bro, Njoku has grown 2 inches"

People need to stop with the Dugans recruiting non-sense. This was a light class at WR in South Fla and we didn't land the elite guy, because we were late to the game (not Dugans fault). Last year we signed 3 elite recruits, one of them being the best freshmen WR in the country. It is not his fault that Bruce was immature.

I think you can. For the most part, you play 5 during the season. You have a couple guys as backups and I think it's adequate depth. It's not where we want to be but I think we can get by 2017 ok with that.

I'd rather not take a JAG and use that extra schollie next year for a non-JAG.
