BC was terrible this year. Probably has potential

Was looking a bit more into him. He seems like a def high 4.4/low 4.5 guy who actually also blocks hard too. And purely is a deep threat basically. Former TE and played QB and defense in HS… wonder if he has more to him than just what he produced at BC. But for an absolute floor of what we could get in the portal , seems interesting.

Toney is definitely WR1.
We need a portal WR regardless for depth and because you don't want to be entirely reliant on multiple True Freshman having to contribute next season... Ideally an upperclassman who is a guy that can average >16 ypc. I wouldn't mind trying to money ball it, But we could definitely use one good outside WR. Omarion Miller, Either Rutgers WR (I'd go for Strong who's prob cheaper than Duff), Either Clemson WR... Jayce Brown would be a good deep threat. Cheaper options:
- Nic McMillan from buffalo is in portal and prob wont be all that expensive and would probably be a higher floor guy.
- Chase Hendrick from Ohio and his coach just got fired. Doubt he'd be that expensive.
- Keshaun Singleton from USF was a good deep threat. With hartline there now though maybe he wouldnt' want to leave.

If we go for a cheaper WR, It'd be ideal to shake up the RB room (Fletcher Declaring, Lofton moving to RB, and getting a portal RB) and getting a TE1 in the portal (so top 3 TEs are Portal, Schott, and Gilbert, and maybe Mueller comes on). That imo would potentially have a larger impact.
Singleton just entered. Was a good deep threat this year for USF. Fits what we need.

There are definitely high end options at Outside deep threat - Comeman and Marsh

Then you got mid expense but likely very good options in Jayce Brown, Omarion Miller

Then you got maybe the cheaper guys like Singleton, Hendricks, McMillan.

Rutgerss and Clemson guys if they entered would be in the high/middle end of cost.

Correct; which is a win/win for Nike. He makes their school looks good & don’t have to pay NIL $. Adidas doesn’t benefit from Smith or CHJ until they turn pro
Wouldn't they benefit if Smith was at an Adidas school? I would think they would want to facilitate a transfer.
