No doubt it's a good start. But if your secondary is as bad as ours was last year, a competent QB will burn you over and over. A great DL can only help out a secondary so much.

A defense is as good as it weakest link (assuming the opposing coaches are reasonably competent).

If TAMU can get the #1 recruiting class based only on money bags and conference affiliation, I think we can do the same here, albeit without the conference affiliation, but with everything else that sofla brings to the table and a more personable coaching staff.

Let’s start locking some of these recruits.

The reason people bashing us is because if we continue to get top 5 classes it screws the balance up with the SEC/BIG.........if the talent is in the ACC their sh eventually looks washed. The powers that be do not want those two conferences looking like they do not have the best talent
