Wow, this truly has been a Merry lil Christmas indeed...

Mark is going into Richtirement. At the end, I commend him for doing the right thing for this program and realizing that his best days as a coach were long behind him.

Now, moving forward, lets get a coach who is in his prime, has new ideas or at least in tune with today's trends in football(spread, quick tempo, etc)

Personally, I try and get the likes of Dino Babers and Matt Campbell on the horn ASAP

But yes, this is a better X-mas gift than a Red Ryder BB Gun.

I want a coach that will put out a team that will rank amount the top offensive teams. I wasn’t to see on ESPN “UM has the #1 scoring offense in the country”
A coach that will fire a coach if he is not performing. That will hire an aggressive DC and hold him accountable. Simple things really.

k9 I don't trust this guy... I don't like him pure intuition man. I've been around this game since I was 10. Like you and boxing well baseball too is all I know.

I want someone else. I want someone new innovative doesn't have to be young.
 
I will pass on Babers. Let him try his trade elsewhere first.

Give me Venables. Yes, never a head coach. He would make our defense elite and recruit that side of the ball like no other. He's young enough and full of energy. It would be better than either hire you have suggested.
