SMH...If steele and Jalen were there, they should be disciplined too. I know kids in college have wild nights but you gotta know when to chill and your teammates should've stepped in after the 1st incident.

2 separate incidents in the same night? Pretty obvious the kid was out of control and all parties agreed to move on amicably but somehow there's always some rape apologist waiting around to attack the women.

One was consensual until his buddies came in and she got embarrassed. The second he's kissing her and casually takes her pants off? Neither sound like battery. Both sound like the women had whores regret afterward.

Neither file charges? Ok

Funny how two separate women in separate incidents filed complaints and you don't see that Jalen was the common denominator.

I like you made up the part about "casually" Also hilarious how both the women are whores but the dude in the incident is what? You're obviously a neanderthal.

The second woman told police Jones kissed her neck in the kitchen before removing her jean shorts and underwear. Jones then penetrated her, according to the report, and the woman repeatedly told him to stop.

This is the exact way the incident should've been handled. He's not labeled a *** offender or charged with a crime, they girls aren't dragged by f'n idiots like you, and the kid get's a 2nd chance at a new school.

“We are aware of the incident reports and have followed athletic department and campus protocols,” Gators spokesman Steve McClain said.

Therein lies the problem, Gator athletic department/football team protocols are vastly different that the overall campus protocols.

There should be one protocol with the exception of an extra notification to the Athletic Department when a student athlete is involved.

I agree. But why bring the man into it. 2:30 am? The freaks come out at night!

Two words; Erica Kinsman—Winston's accuser.

You really want to be a woman in a small college town that accuses a football player of rape?

Have you not seen how our society treats women who come forward regarding rape?

Yes, there are a lot of women who cry wolf—but there also a lot of others who don't want to talk about it because of the stigma attached to it, their names being smeared in the mud, listening to people question the validity of their statement, etc.

Maybe Jones is guilty, maybe he isn't—but the fact these two women didn't want to file charges didn't mean s**t didn't happen. Don't confuse the two.

"Police investigated two incidents, 30 minutes apart, but neither complainant wanted to pursue criminal charges."

What more do you guys need? It would be one **** of a coincidence otherwise.

When the athletic department of a public university had a criminal defense attorney on speed dial one would think that alone might have drawn some attention from the NCAA and the trusty ole national media.

UF Athletes Have a Friend in Attorney

GAINESVILLE -- Flashy memorabilia of Marilyn Monroe, Ted Williams and Ernest Hemingway overshadow a small picture of Florida's football stadium hanging in the hallway.

The blue ink scribbled on the 40-yard line of "The Swamp" somehow delivers the loudest message inside this colorfully cluttered law office. Huntley, Thanks for being a part of the team. ~Urban Meyer.

Huntley Johnson isn't on the University of Florida's payroll. He's not on the UF football program's payroll, either. But the Gainesville-based attorney might just be the Gators' most valuable player other than Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Tim Tebow.

Johnson is the go-to Gator for UF football players who find trouble with the law. He has handled 23 of the 24 football-related legal cases the Orlando Sentinel documented during Meyer's four years as Florida's head coach. This number is all the more alarming when considering those UF players who were not caught or Gainesville police chose to look the other way.

Research shows that of the 23 cases handled by Johnson, 21 resulted in dropped charges, a plea deal or pre-trial deferment plans. State Attorney Bill Cervone, who talks to Johnson almost daily, said his office might expedite investigations of football players to avoid amplified media coverage, but athletes are not treated differently than other students.

Isn’t Huntley Johnson in a war with the school?

Yeah women never falsely accuse dudes of rape.
