As much as I am a Gopher fan - I would love for Miami to get him. This could be an NIL play too - and the gophers might be able to throw in some daycare facility money at him.

You always have to be interested in difference making players with elite ball skills. This is a no brainer and hope Heatherman can pull it off. He seems to really enjoy the upper Mid West region but hope familiarity with the DC is more of a pull than OSU.

Yep, better than both at this stage. Koi,Fitz, and Poyser can rotate between nickel and safety in different sets. Koi to me has more Scott than Thomas in his game but he’s a beast. No kicking the tires Miami needs to make it happen!

No doubt. Heathermen is smart and he will gear the defense to maximize the talents of his best players.

That’s why I was hoping for Tony Rojas in the portal. Toure has played good and given his all but he has obvious limitations. A LBer with Rojas talent and versatility opens up what a defense can do. Caleb Downs is the same caliber player (albeit higher caliber). Perch has that ability and versatility too. Hope we go all out to get him, don’t want him to go to OSU because they are already getting that Penn St edge and Pitt LB.
