Would you take Richt over any coach in the top 10?

LOL this is miami----thank God we have Richt. No other established coach would ever take this job. Sorry to bust your bubble but we have been a sideshow since big money took over college football and will always be middle of the pack.
This is sadly the point many do not understand. "The U" is truly lucky to have CMR. (at this stage) I am dissatisfied with this years results, but I do believe CMR has given the program a level of relevance the past 3 years that only existed in the minds of Canes zombie fans. Honestly speaking we have to start thinking in terms of winning ACC coastal (talent alone should have us in yearly contention), occasional ACC championship (this is where coaching comes in), and possible Playoffs. As for competing year in and year out for a Natty, not sure this is a reality any longer given the NCAA landscape. Let me make one thing clear before the mob's come out. I am not accepting mediocrity, simply acknowledging the reality. Can the program put a string of top 10 finishes and make a few runs at the playoffs, yes. But unless the administration gets with the times doing so consistantly will be a struggle.

Krazycane here to say yes in 3...2....1......go

Him and Earnest are in their afternoon session of nude, steam Pilates. Give them a chance to “ finish “.

Oh..... and just in case you haven’t heard, him and Earnest have became the first openly *** marriage on cis. Which is awesome , I heard he was granted permission to change his handle to Krazy T Bass to make it official.

Congrats fellas.

Nah it’s not true. You get the right coach here you’re a contender on day 1. Mike Leach wins the Acc with our roster this year.

Nah, man. Don't you know only Nick Saban could get through the murderers row of UVA, Boston College, Georgia Tech, and Duke?

Bryan Harsin?
Mario Cristobal?
Luke Fickell?
Barry Odom?
Dave Doeren?
Whoever tf is head coach of Army?

Bryan Harsin? Do you honestly have to ask this one? Easy yes.
Mario Cristobal? Sure though I don't think he's actually good
Luke Fickell? eh idk
Barry Odom? Maybe. They've improved every year since he started and two of the four losses this year were to UGA and Bama.
Dave Doeren? Most likely yes.
Whoever tf is head coach of Army? (Jeff Monken) he has made Army relatively good for them because they were f-ucking awful for a while. He's done well at triple option schools. No due to it being a big change for him.

People should realize that Richt is pretty washed up at this point.

Mork Rorcht will have a diverse playbook next season, we got the inside scoop of him breaking down next years go to play
We are going from this seasons leather helmets to wooden helmets

Miami went into the final week of the regular season last year needing a win over a garbage Pitt team to go into acc championship game ranked #1, where even with a loss, Miami had a chance of getting into the playoffs.

So what did Rick do to keep the team focused? The team had a huge Thanksgiving feast at the hotel and played grabass all night and sang Kumbaya. Isn't a theory, the Miami Herald reported it.

This isn't a knock on religion, but that was one of those times that Rick put being a good Christian ahead of being a good HC. Good HC would have known that you aren't going to have much success when your players are looking ahead to the acc championship game, and you let them fill up on turkey and gravy before a Friday game against a physical team with nothing to lose.

Miami wasnt a particularly good team, but just needed a win over a sub .500 team to be a playoff team in year 2 of the Rick era (which was mostly Al Golden's players).

This year, a competent coach gets Miami into the ACC championship game 11-1 or 10-2 at worst.

Yet our fanbase is full of defeatists who think Miami is light years away from the playoffs. Losers.

Just looking at the games over the weekend (any game) and expanding it to the last poll Would you pick Mark Richt and his staff over any of them?

My answers is no.

This is dumb....Richt is not even in the top 15(probably 20) You are better than this.....you been drinking all afternoon

The better question would be...if Miami somehow woke the F up and pretended to be a football school again and actually did the right thing and fired Richt....would ANY other school in the country hire him?

I honestly don't think it's a sure thing he's even employable at this point, anywhere BUT here.

Richt was a questionable hire by B.James, B.davis, D.Mullen & G.Schiano were all interested as well.
we have the $$$$ 4.0M$ CMR and willing to go 1M$ for-an OC. ACC network coming on stream which will improve cash as well....... right now we are all in a state of disappointment in Deacon Richt and his staff, refusal to change his O scheme
and seemingly getting killed on recruiting trail...............I get the feeling the BOT wants middle of the road performance 7,8 sometimes 9 wins.....
