Have Brad always back next year leading the offense. He's an experienced player who can give you 3000 yards and 20-25 TD's. He is able to make adjustments at the line and when he has time and a clean pocket can make great throws.

Or turn the offense over to one of the younger players and give them experience next year knowing that 2018 should be the year that we have built up depth and are a national contender. They will need to go through some growing pains, but offer more mobility and a different dimension to the offense with their feet.

Have we reached the ceiling with Kaaya or do you think if he comes back he can have a big year and lead us to at least an ACC Championship?

I've had enough of growing pains, just put the best man out there for the job which right now is Kaaya.

I think we should dump a 3 year starting QB who will own every passing record at UM in favor of a complete unknown because a few vocal, miserable morons on a message board decided they hate him.

Our Front 7 will be outstanding next year. Not the time to get dragged down by a 1st yr qb. Brad is not Heisman level, but he is still very good. No contest.

He clearly struggles with the part in bold but he is still a good QB.

So in 2018 with an unknown QB we can be a contender but next year potentially with a 4 year starter at QB (and an above average QB) and returning almost all of our best defensive players we won't be contenders....

I'll take another year of a hungry Kayaa looking for a storybook ending to his career at Miami and chance to fulfill the prophecy that he is the chosen one to lead us back to glory.

Listen to the post game about the deep route to njoku and type that again.

I dont need the post game report to tell me what my eyes can already see. That one play doesnt excuse the countless presnap blunders he has made this season.

Nice try tho.

Gotta go with Brad...

We've all been very critical of him & most of it deservedly so, but if we really want a chance at the ACC next year, we gotta go with Brad.

I'm one of the biggest Perry fans on here absoluetly love the kid, but he needs a Shirt year... Not just because he needs to add more weight (although I will say in his last playoff game vs Lake Gibson, he didn't look rail thin like he used to) but because, he won't be ready yet next year... He's a dynamic player with a great arm, but I don't see him as a day 1 starter.

Redshirt Freshman's have had a lot of success over the recent years in College Football & for 2018 I'm seeing the same thing with Perry...
Let him Shirt 17 & learn Richt's Offense, then he'll hit the ground running the following year.

I like Allison too, so I'm not counting him out as a potential starter some time in the future either, I'm just high on Perry.

Weldon I think has potential to be a really good QB to, kid is very competitive & has that chip on his shoulder and could make a huge rise as well...

But my point in saying all of that is to say, while I like all the potential QB's we have, I don't think any of them are game ready for next year.

I know none of the incoming Freshman's will be ready because I don't think either one of them is an EE (I know Perry isn't, but unsure about Weldon).

With Allison, y'all probably know better than me, but from what I remember back in Spring & Fall camp he seemed to not play so well...
Doesn't mean he won't be improved by next year, but I don't seem him making that much of a significant leap to take over the starting job from Kaaya.

Kaaya is not as terrible as he's always made out to be, and trust me I get equally as frustrated with his play like the rest of you do, but our best chance next year is with him.

He definitely needs to work on his footwork & continue to fine tune his accuracy (particularly on the deep ball), but I think (hope) he can improve with one more year in Richt's system.

The other QBs are practicing whether they start or not. If anything, Brad should play better with legit backups nipping at his heels.

I agree with you on Brad coming back, but if he doesn't did you rule out Rosier?

Yes... If Brad went to the Draft, give me Allison or maybe even Perry (although I think he needs a Shirt year).

I think we would be a 5-7, 6-6 team at best with Rosier as the starter.

gotcha

Kaaya da key to possible big season next year. Without Kaaya, Rosier is probably the game one starter and his accuracy is way off at times.
Dude can run.
Capt. Jack needs to make a big jump from last Spring.
Shierriffs was looking good until he hurt his hand and he and Richt didn't get on the same page after that.
Testaverde is a solid player but not a starter at Miami.
Two mo coming in the next class, one an EE. Can't see all these gUyS here next fall. Nice to have some depth but not sure where Miami goes without Kaaya.

No. You can already mark the losses next year if Kaaya is back.

Dont care about 300 yard games against Duke, I care about making a play against average or better teams.

This is the only answer.

People hoping he leaves are beyond help.
