Would you rather go 8-4 with NP or JW, or 10-2 with Rosier?

That would mean our back ups can’t beat out one of the statistically proven worse starting qbs? Then we’re just foked. And on top of that we still not recruiting a qb.

problem here is you gotta look at recruits

you have to take 10-2 even if it's technically "better" to go 8-4 with a new qb

So you think our lines match up with Alabama's? Because without great lines we aren't even making it to the big dance. There have been a lot of real good QB's that have been crushed by bama's lines in the past 10 years or so. Lines win NC's.

I don't see any reason why we won't go 10-2 this season with the schedule we have.
 
I can remember in 91 sitting in the Orange bowl before the Houston game thinking can Miami stop Klingler. Miami's lines dominated as we use to see all the time. We need lines to move up to the top 4, hopefully some of our kids will get better. We can still beat everyone on our schedule, VT is probably a tossup.

Im good with that, but it's not a given that Rosier would win more games than Perry. Teams are on to Rosier and his tendencies. The guy has been exposed. Perry would give us an element of surprise, at least for a few games. Plus the kid is lightning fast. He could be a Lamar Jackson type player for us under the right offensive package.
 
If Rosier can win 9 more games that's fvcken great... because that means that the OL, the DL, the whole team will be playing decently. The "suck for Luck" strategy does not have a guaranteed outcome. Hopefully we will give the up-and-comers playing time this year without any more embarrassing loses.
 
10-2 and getting blown out by Clemson isn't a step forward IMO. I think 9-3 or 8-4 with an impressive Freshman leading the way builds toward the future on the field & off. Recruits will take more notice in a JW or 'Kosi (Cade too) take over IMO. Lose a few more now if it means winning a few more later.

We go 8-4 with Perry and you would be *****ing non-stop on here.

As I said, no other fanbase has people who rather lose than win. Its just bizarre. Rosier is going after this year. recruits know that.

We're the U for ****'s sake.

We should never go 8-4. It really pains me that we have and worse.

What's even worse than that is that the college football world, recruits, and even us as fans have gotten used to the idea of not being dominant. I'm personally really tired of it. Obviously there's nothing I can do about it, but I'm sick of the poor stewardship of this great brand. The university, its leaders, and so many coaching staffs (staves?) have slowly neutered the brand and what it stands for...and now here we are.

The U used to intimidate, and it used to stand for beating *** and doing it with tons of style. When is someone going to take the reigns and not settle for anything less than week after week of beating the living **** out of the other team?

All that to say...I'm not ok with 8-4. Ever. I'm ok with 10-2 if it means we're going somewhere. But holy **** can someone take ownership of this brand and make it into a force again? Let's ******* GO.
 
There’s no way any of our other 3 Qb’s lose 3 more games. Rosier might cause 8-4 record if the defense doesn’t get turnovers like it has been the case in those 4 straight loses with Rosier at the helm. Any one who thinks that Rosier should still lead this team is a fool! Only thing he deserves is the focking bench!
