Would you be hurt too?

Nah, it worked out. After all, even though we struck out at CB, we still signed Hester and Guyot.

Oh wait...

He must've been a Cane fan do be so butthurt. I can understand Quincy being butthurt given the fact he's legacy but Al Harris Jr? No!

Seems like it was a down year in the SEC secondary for freshman if that guy with his statistics is a freshman all-sec!

The fact that his dad is an NFL coach, hes from our back yard, and he was actually decent with 3* is plenty of a reason to have an offer. I think Al is scared of anyone with a football family (which is why he stays recruiting in NJ) because they see through his bull **** and see how stupid he is.

FROM A UM FEEDER SCHOOL!

Who gives a fck. He's not a Cane move on.

We SHOULD give a ****.

He plays a position, DB, that much like DT, is EXTREMELY under-recruited and lacks future talent to say the least.

This fat **** is going the way of Shannon w/r/t his evaluations and offers/selection.

Al Golden's recruiting...

"...is he from Jersey?... If we lock-down New Jersey first, then the Florida kids will come."

How many SEC DB's play as freshman? Winning this award doesn't mean much because not many freshman actually play. If you win all-conference, that would mean something.

Harris plays CB, we didn't take any CBs last year.

I would have offered based on the fact that his father was an NFL vet and he comes from a feeder school, but we are all right at CB and he wouldn't have player sniffed the field on our team at that position.

Wouldn't it be significant if a freshman got significant burn if "not many freshman actually play?"

LOL Harris was terrible for them, and that was the worst South Carolina secondary in 15 years but whatevs

This sort of stuff happened back in the day too. Kid from down here not offered, holds grudge, plays over his head us and hurts us. Our problem is the kids we do offer and can't land more than the few we never offer. Besides, if Al took this kid, what makes anyone think he would be any good-- haven't you been paying attention. Al makes kids worse players not better.

On a 6-6 team, it's more likely for a freshman to get burn especially as the season progresses. I will give him props though. But getting offered to the U as a CB or RB in South Florida is probably the hardest offer to get for a player. There are too many good ones down here.

Especially when Golden is the coach. I wont complain about rb but cb? We dont offer or strongly recruit any top notch guys. The only guy we targeted and was ours last year ended up at Texas Tech and he wasnt top notch. We haven't been in consideration for a top notch CB since Tracy Howard and Artie Burns

This is a kid you bring in and redshirt. Let him develop and hope at worst he provides depth with the possibility to develop into something more down the line.

Our depth chart at CB isn't going to be pretty very soon.
