They were spared for the most part...they caught the west side of the storm. Asheville, Hot Springs, Erwin (TN), Damascus (VA) got hit hard being on the north/east side of it.
Facts, we got fu ked up in Asheville, 30' river beds took 150' swaths of area to the bed rock. Things got wild

That area around WCU is beautiful...Sylva, Franklin, Bryson City, etc, >>> real mountain towns (Highlands sucks).
My grandfather moved up from Miami in the early 80's building houses, land development etc. Little more west if you know where Tobacco Branch is. My family settled there. Started high school in Sylva, transferred to Swain County (Bryson) Worked in Cashiers all through college at WCU. I wanna bring my family now there, to settle and finish there. Beautiful and serene

Never heard anyone say Highlands sucks, other than the locals who see it as pretentious. The drive sucks. Surprisingly good golf in Highlands despite being mountainous

Thanks! Always appreciate your insight. I’ll check out his film.

Braden Atkinson
As far as guys having good statistical seasons, Him, Colton Joseph (Dominion), Bryce Schondelmeyer (Dayton), Jacob Clark (Missouri St), along with ****ens are kinda standing out from what I've seen.

And at slightly bigger schools, Drew Mestemaker (N.Texas) obviously, Braylon Braxton (So.Miss), Katin Houser (E.Carolina), Ryder Burton (UAB)... Maybe Micah Alejado (Hawaii), Bryson Barnes (UtahSt)

From there I'd just look at their arm talent, build, and honestly I'd look at what their HS stats were too... I think there are a lot of viable 2nd QB options.

Is this a Poffenbarger situation where he knows the team is still going to bring in a real QB1 from the portal and he’s just going to be competing for a backup position? If yes, bring him in.

Yeah pretentious and expensive compared to the other towns i mentioned. I'm biased though as hiker trash, I like grungy trail towns.

I do.

But he's likely gonna need more time to develop. Unfortunately, Miami isn't in a position where we can afford to let a kid like that start before he's ready.
WHO at Miami is gonna actually develop a high school quarterback?
