Would Ice Harris be an improvement at OC ?

Is this a serious thread? I thought this was a tongue in cheek sort of sarcastic thread.

Let me clarify, I'm not advocating on behalf of Ice Harris for the OC job. I'm not an idiot. The point I was trying to make is that I think Coley is so bad at calling plays that I believe Ice would be an improvement. I wasn't referring to the actual game plan. I'm strictly talking about calling plays. There is a difference.

There's a reason Jimbo never let him call plays on gameday. He has no feel for it. At all. Zero.

I want coaches who've "done more with less" at some point in their their career. Those are the true X and O gurus and developers. Some of people see a guy win games at schools like Booker T or other schools that are loaded and think he must be a great coach.

Doesn't look like to me there was much of a gameplan there on Monday night, either. Pricko Suave has no feel for the OC position. He might coach QBs well and recruit pretty **** good, but when it comes to being Offensive Coordinator in charge of preparing an offensive gameplan and calling the plays...he's as good as Charles Barkley is at golf. Both want to be good, but no matter what...they both suck at what they do.

I'd keep Coley on staff and let Ice and the other offensive coaches come up with ideas that don't include a run-pass option for Dorsett from the opponent's 8 going in. ****...even if we ran the same offensive scheme that Ice had his boy Treon running last season, it would be a marked improvement from what we've seen the past 7 games. At least there's a concept there.

I'll say this much, there's no possible way the ***** could be worse then coley. The **** they run at booker T atleast has rhyme and reason to it. Gives the quarterback easy reads and sets the defense up for counter plays later in the game. Coley just calls a random assortment of plays regardless of what the defense is showing(running into 9 man fronts smh)

And if we lose 5 yards on another stretch zone run, this topic will immediately become relevant. If I see that **** again, I'm driving to coral gables to take the Mother ****** out myself!

This has probably been said a million times before, but we are one good X's and O's coaching hire away from having a BCS contending team. Our team has serious developing talent. Just need to put them in a position to succeed. Combine the underclassmen with the kids in the '15 and '16 class and the talent is insane. Just need someone to put it together.
