Pretty laughable that 11-1 is the "expectation" for a program with one double-digit win season since 2004.

Six head coaches in 17 seasons; it's gonna take a minute before 11 wins is any expectation again.

One billion percent agree!!

The biggest issue with last year was that because of the failure of the last two decades, Mario really couldn't afford to crap the bed like he did last year. I think any fair-minded veteran CFB watcher knows that Kiffin would've taken last year's team and won more games. We'll never know, but c'mon... it's true.

The argument this whole time is that Mario is a better long game HC and that's what I am hoping is true. All of that stated, we just couldn't afford to have the season we had last year. We just didn't have the margin to do it, but it happened.

Now, Mario HAS to perform this year or we really could be permanently demoted to the lower tier.

I know he's working hard and trying his best, but the margin is gone, it's bone rubbing against bone time. We need to win and at least 9 or that may not be enough. That's the reality.
