Ending the season on a roll can't hurt.
I know there have been tons of missteps, not uncommon for a first year coach obviously, but a merely average kicker makes this team 7-2 (maybe 8-1). So I'm not blaming a first year coach for having the worst kicking team in the country.
If the young line and young QB show improvement this season and recruiting doesn't collapse then I'll hope again next season.
