Would be better for ACC if Alabama wins out

That would eliminate Georgia and Auburn and leave SEC with only one team in and if Wisconsin goes down Miami and Clemson could both get in. If Auburn wins out they and Bama would both get in leaving ACC with only one team.

Clemson and miami aren't both getting in. Clemson with 2 losses drops out of the top 4. We cant just skip that game.

Only 1 ACC team is getting in. No way do a 1 loss Miami or 2 loss Clemson get in.
This is wrong quite frankly if Miami loses a close one

If bama and Ohio State win out

Which is like 99% of happening...

then 2 ACC teams will be in

One loss Miami is in over 2 loss Ohio State (see Penn State ohio state last year)

Conference champ Ohio state over non conf champ Miami... wishful thinking

If we have a close loss to Clemson and get some help on the back side, we very well could make it in. People aren't going to forgive OSU's loss to Iowa so easily. The two loss team that could jump us is Auburn. If Alabama wins out, Auburn is done. Georgia as well.

It's important for us to handle business against UVA and Pitt the next two weeks and get some style points. Also would be good for OU to lose to TCU, but I don't see that happening.

One more thing... We should all be HUGE Michigan fans the next two weeks.

Yeah Oklahoma losing would be glorious. That coupled with Alabama wins would guarantee us a spot as long as we are competitive (not that we wanna half *** our way in) but better to be in than out

A 1 loss Miami gets in over 2 loss Auburn, Georgia,OSU, and 1 loss Wisconsin
Yep

Just need bama to win out

And Ohio State to win out or have Michigan beat wisky this weekend at least

A one loss Miami team would NOT get in over Auburn. That's wishful thinking. They'd end the year with wins over Alabama and Georgia X2. No way they don't jump us if we lose one. Not saying they should, but I darn sure know they would.

Did you read it ? Said bama wins out

So yes . A one loss miami gets in over 3 loss non sec champ Auburn

Because Auburn and beating bama and UGA x2. That would be WORST case scenario with a loss for us to Clemson

If bama beats Auburn and Georgia and Ohio State wins out.

We're in no matter what as long as we don't get blown out by Clemson (won't happen)

Yeah, I don't know what the **** I was replying to. Sorry about that! Been a loooong day.

Wait... I was responding to the guy above you. Two loss Auburn versus one loss Miami will not end well for us. We should want Bama to win out, knocking as many other teams out along the way as possible.

Just glad I didn't miss anything ha

I'm probably in the minority here but I think Clemson could beat anyone in the country so finding little things like this make me feel better about our playoff chances because December 2nd is gonna be a battle

best case scenario is

1. Miami wins out

Second best scenario is

Bama wins out
Wisconsin wins out
Oklahoma loses to either WVU or OkState

A one loss Miami to #2 Clemson isn’t getting passed by any 2 loss team.

Resulting in

Alabama
Clemson
Wisconsin
Miami

Michigan winning out would be sweet as well.

Ohio State is in in that scenario

Not if they lose to Wisconsin in the Big10 ship.

And Wisconsin could easily lose to Michigan.

Miami fans should be rooting hard for Michigan and Bama the rest of the way. OP is right - there is a path for a 1 loss Miami and 1 loss Clemson.

We should also be rooting for OU to lose any game left, including Big 12 ship.

We would still get in if Ohio State wins out

Keep in mind this would he same thing as Penn State ohio state last year

One loss team non championship team (Miami this time last year Ohio state) gets in over 2 loss championship team (Ohio State this time ,last year Penn St)

Committee said because Penn State was non competitive in loss to Michigan so championship didn't matter

Ohio State was non competitive in two games

I say obviously Michigan Winning out is best but really all that matter is big 10 championship team has 1 preferrably two losses

Just Win Canes. Stop the hypotheticals of "if Miami has one loss". Just Win. Take care of business....
