Coley for the life of him cannot teach or knows how to teach these kids how to run the WR screen! It always gets blown up. Just terrible!
I wish he would stop running that play on 3rd and short
Screens are one of those things that should be part of an ****nal but used on situational downs - not on any down. They require a lot of coordination and if you have a lot of newbies on the OL like we do, it will get blown up
Yeah that sh*t don't work
A very good effort by the Hurricanes last despite the rain. I really can't understand Foley as he is a very good recruiter BUT a high school play caller. This play NEVER works and he ran it like 4 times last night. That play not should be in the playbook because Brad Kaaya does not have any zip on the ball. The play takes way too long to develop and EVERYONE in the country knows we run this play including the Chinese, Russians, and Eskimos. The best play in football is the element of surprise and maybe Coley should listen to the profound words of Gomer Pyle. ( SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE ) Time to trash that play and throw the ball down the field like the play to R. Scott. We have a nIce trio of running backs. Next week we should bring an ear of corn to the game too.
