…that dude was atrocious all game long. Spotted us 1/2 yard to 1 yard short of where our guys were tackled all game long.

On a previous Brown run late in the game, kid had a 1st down and marked him a full yard short.

On Mallory’s fumble at the end, it was clearly out of bounds after the first down yard marker, and he marked it behind the sticks. Just terrible.

Saw the same thing on Brown’s run. Good call

Refs bailed us out...that was a clear safety and twitter blew up over the call...so as bad as they tried to cuck us a couple of times, Pitt got their fair share as well. They get that safety, we certainly lose that game given how terrible we are at covering the middle of the field...and prolly the end of Diaz.

What ****ed me off tho was prior to the safety, how did the ball move from the 4 (where Williams picked it) to the 2???

Actually picked up a properly placed spot and moved it a yard back. It was the action of a guy with a bet on Pitt on the money line.

This is also true. That missed safety saved Diaz’s job.

Literally tried to cheat. There’s no other way to describe that. Cray.
Yep. Blatant cheating. No other way to call that.

Even on the so called safety, Knighton’s face mask was pulled by the DL, and there was another ghost call by the refs. How come no one is talking about that.

Also, on their field goal drive where Pitt made the score 38-34, the guy that threw the pass was over the line of scrimmage when he released it, no call by the refs, or mention of it by the Miami hating announcers.

In the 3rd quarter Rambo was tackled about 5 yards before the ball arrived on second and long, and no flag was thrown.

In the first half their RB took a Lebron like dive. Nobody touched dude, and the ref called a 15-yarder on us.

We got our fair share of terrible calls.

Announcers sucked this game and didn’t explain why the ball was down at the 2 yard line. I thought it might’ve been because Williams took his helmet off on the field but no one ever said anything to my knowledge.

There was no penalty after the Williams int. He actually caught on on the 4.5 yard line. One of those refs was clearly up to something. But yet no one on the Miami sideline was smart enough to stop the game and have a talk? That is totally reviewable. Refs suck. Miami staff sucked just as bad.

Williams must have been penalized for taking off his helmet after the int. Thought the same thing. Confirmed by someone in another thread.

My dude on the fumble is looking RIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT at the ball a yard a away and then marks it where he is standing.. If im a coach we would be throwing hands because you cant watch a replay with the guy right there and say this guy is not blatantly cheating against your team..

Wasn’t a safety. All the ball had to do was touch the goal line. Roosters forward momentum got him to the line.

Also, Jwill took his helmet off so it was half the distance to the goal. If the play was overturned, it would have killed us.

well replay fixed it. So that's that.

The safety play went our way and I'm sure Pitt fans are fuming on that one
