Worst coached game in canes history?

I think The New Miami is all these millennial social justice warriors who think losing close should be applauded.

The New Miami is care more about what piece of jewelry the head coach will come out with as opposed to how qualified he is to coach football.

The New Miami is hashtags and mediocre recruiting pitches.

The New Miami is The Same Miami.

Bring me the OLD Miami with world class coaching staffs and teams that didn’t **** their pants on the regular.

10 sacks. If a team gives up 10 sacks, it better be facing a 2001 Miami era defense. Gators are a top 30 D, but not close to top 10, this is inexcusable.

ST nothing but failure again. There are no NEW positive developments. Defense is good, that was expected. Williams has promise, but that isn't a surprise and he will be wasted behind this OL.

I love the team Im a fan, im a fan cause im here all the time checking up on the team. I dont really have to explain being hurt or mad cause u love something so much and u see whats wrong with it yet u cant fix it because other people r in control of it.
Guessing you didn’t look up fanatic.

Hate to go on this tangent (and I know the comparison is insensitive) but fanatics cut heads off. When Ahmed tells you to kill the infidel... there isn’t much room for hemming and hawing because you “don’t agree with the direction management is taking you.”

All around terrible job by the coaching staff

It was certainly a badly coached game. Hard to say if it was the worst.

Each of the previous 5 staffs-yes, including Butch’s-have all had one unbelievably badly coached game.
1. Butch losing 66-13 to Syracuse
2. Coker losing 40-3 to LSU
3. Shannon losing 48-0 to UVA
4. Golden losing 58-0 to Clemson
5. Richt losing 35-3 to Wisconsin

I’d say this is one of the top 6 corching jobs.

I've been watching college football since the 90's. This was actual worst game I've ever seen, lol - And that includes Auburn beating Miss St. 3-2 in 2008 and VT vs Wake Forest: 0-0. Like, I have never seen 2 teams **** up so hard series after series.

That was the worst O-line performance I've ever seen. Seriously, I'm going to cite this game for years to come. FSU's O-line last year was bad, but not this bad. At some point you actually have to put some blame on Jarren for assuming that his LT is even there.

The amount of missed tackles and lack of ball protection was inexcusable. Jarren doesn't even understand the concept of throwing the ball away - which means Enos hasn't even worked with him on it. He just half-hazardly pulls the ball down and thinks he's going to side-step 4 Florida D-linemen.

What the **** is going on with our special teams? How do you muff a ******* punt return on the 10 yard line right there? How do you miss a ******* chip shot field goal, which - OF COURSE - is going to end up costing us the game because we can't kick another FG to win it?

I dunno, that was some ****. I dunno how Miami manages to this to me during the season opener against a decent school year after year but they keep finding a way.

Really it's on me at this point. I'm like the abused ex girlfriend who keeps coming back to the guy whispering sweet nothings into my ear, year after year. "Richt is gone, we're going to be so much better baby. Manny is a Miami guy who GETS IT, he's going to have these guys prepared. Enos was the QB coach at Alabama, baby. ALABAMA! He's got his guy and they're going to take us to the promised land."
U may be stupid

Nailed it

we had a right to be worried about the hire but people killed me @OriginalGatorHater and people here ripped us, the hire was concerning af after saying they were doing a real "search". Its over man I love this team will root hard watch the games but those savage squads thats over those draft picks dominating the NFL thats over, titles? thats over

It’s been over for a long time.

When this university gets serious about ball we’ll be good again. When that is? I have no idea. Hopefully before I die

It is. Flaccid Penos does not know how to adjust. Manny does not know how to game manage. OL is still lifeless. It's actually worst than last year.

Yea it was just bad so many mistakes so many flags terrible timeouts delay of games jusy terrible
Hilarious you thought with a new staff, scheme, qb and line it would be different. You all should look up every now and then while jacking each other off. It’ll give you perspective.

How? we lost by 4 points, even with all that went wrong

Guess the staff is a work in progress, the Iine was worse than expected. It got embarrassing where a sack was expected on pass plays...

This is stupid. We lost to a top 10 team at a “neutral” site in the first game of the season by 4 points with a realistic chance to win. I’m not saying it was a masterclass but the sky isn’t falling.
