Worst coached game in canes history?

I've been watching college football since the 90's. This was actual worst game I've ever seen, lol - And that includes Auburn beating Miss St. 3-2 in 2008 and VT vs Wake Forest: 0-0. Like, I have never seen 2 teams **** up so hard series after series.

That was the worst O-line performance I've ever seen. Seriously, I'm going to cite this game for years to come. FSU's O-line last year was bad, but not this bad. At some point you actually have to put some blame on Jarren for assuming that his LT is even there.

The amount of missed tackles and lack of ball protection was inexcusable. Jarren doesn't even understand the concept of throwing the ball away - which means Enos hasn't even worked with him on it. He just half-hazardly pulls the ball down and thinks he's going to side-step 4 Florida D-linemen.

What the **** is going on with our special teams? How do you muff a ******* punt return on the 10 yard line right there? How do you miss a ******* chip shot field goal, which - OF COURSE - is going to end up costing us the game because we can't kick another FG to win it?

I dunno, that was some ****. I dunno how Miami manages to this to me during the season opener against a decent school year after year but they keep finding a way.

Really it's on me at this point. I'm like the abused ex girlfriend who keeps coming back to the guy whispering sweet nothings into my ear, year after year. "Richt is gone, we're going to be so much better baby. Manny is a Miami guy who GETS IT, he's going to have these guys prepared. Enos was the QB coach at Alabama, baby. ALABAMA! He's got his guy and they're going to take us to the promised land."

Haha. No doubt. All of the coaches really struggled at times but just like players - rookie head coaches learn and improve too. Let’s hope that happens here (I think it will).

you people are insane lol. brand new offensive system, TONS of young and inexperienced players expected to start or heavily contribute, and a known deficiency on the OL. what exactly did you expect in week 1? the real measurement of our coaching staff will be whether we see these things get cleaned up as the year goes on.

This level of discipline does indeed point to players not being well-coached. I don't see how that wouldn't objectively be true.

Also, I really hope there is more to this. I hope Manny isn't trying to win on swag alone.

we had a right to be worried about the hire but people killed me @OriginalGatorHater and people here ripped us, the hire was concerning af after saying they were doing a real "search". Its over man I love this team will root hard watch the games but those savage squads thats over those draft picks dominating the NFL thats over, titles? thats over

So we already knew the guy can't recruit. Now he can't coach or prepare his team. ****.

@Miami Nights I rippedu my boy after one game with Al Golden and I didnt know then what I know now, it took me one game to know like u did then. Im good I know this staff will fail by that one game, hope they turn it around but not optimistic after what I saw. An OL worse then ever before and no burst off the DL, DTs? trash............... number 92 on UF was a baller........DJ balled and Jordan and I cant get mad at JW they probably ruined him already.
