Worse pain than last year?

Last year when the season ended at Syracuse, it was the last game and we just had to suffer through a bowl. Now we have a month left of meaninglessness and a bowl game. Seems worse this year. We suck.

Not only was it more painful than last year, it shows the program is a mess. Very painful and hopeless. Realized we will never be an elite program again.
 
Here’s the thing. Even if we made the CFP last year we all knew that we weren’t contending. However, just three weeks ago we were ranked second and assumed to be on a glide path to at least the second round.

We're a worse team this year than last year.

Last year we had a bad Defense, particularly a Secondary that couldn't stop anybody.

This year, the Offense is back to the Gatless express & while the Defense has improved especially against the run, they're still not good enough to compensate for a below average Offense against teams with a decent QB.

Last year was our best shot at making a run at the ACC & possibly making the playoffs.

Yea worse because I still had hope for Mario to get “there” and now I don’t but I also know he’s not going anywhere

Nah. From the beginning of the season I saw red flags from Beck. Eden in the ND game the miracle catch from Daniels was a pick 9 of 10 times. WRs constantly bailed him out. He was constantly throwing behind WRs and was off target. Can’t run to save his life. Was just a matter of time before we lost games to get knocked from the playoffs.
 
Last year was worse IMO. That offense is something we as fans have been waiting to see out of a UM Football team since 2001. This year, we didn't know how improved the defense would be..if any, and we didn't think we would have as good of an offense (we were correct there). I was thinking 8-4, 9-3. My three Ls were ND, SMU, and SU. Louisville was not on my radar at the start of the season, but I had the bubble guts leading up to the game.

No. My interest in the season ended after the Louisville loss. That was a disgusting result.

Today we were absolutely shafted by the officials, but the loss to the Cards told me we weren't winning anything of note this season so I emotionally detached myself from the team at that point.

It’ll expose us worse this year. At this point I fully expect the wheels to come off and us to lose 4 out of our last 5. Next week will be our last win of 25.
