Worse loss - Syracuse in 24 vs SMU in 25?

Syracuse for me. We were on the doorstep of the ACCCG and CFP and blew a 3 TD lead. We could have finally gotten over the hump.
I blamed the defense last year and unfortuantely now after this loss it's clear the problems with our program are much deeper. After the Louisville game, it also seemed inevitable that we would drop at least another one, whether this week or later.

Middle Tennessee State. Easily. I was at a bar 10 minutes from MTSU's campus. That was awesome. All I could do was laugh.

SMU - 4th and 9 and we rough the QB on a play blown dead. Lost to SMU who

Syracuse in 2024 hurt more…. I wasn’t surprised cause the defense was horrible that whole year, but between losing that lead and their coach mouthing off afterwards…. I was ****ed.

2025 SMU I saw coming a mile a way, so was already numb to it.

Louisville kinda warmed this game up because we proved we could be beat and we don’t have Superman at QB anymore just a hissy fit throwing one

I’d like to think so but watching NC State we’re gonna lose. Same with VT and Pitt. Bowl game is a guaranteed loss. Maybe we steal a game. No way are we beating all NC State, Pitt and VT.

This is worse we knew our defense sucked. This is more inexcusable to me.

Definitely today because we outplayed SMU for the majority of the game. The only reason we lost is because we kept shooting ourselves in the foot with penalties, poor coaching decisions and more. In the Syracuse game we couldn't stop their offense to save our lives. Kyle McCord completed almost every pass for like 400 yards and 3TDs
