WORD IS CHANGE IS COMING

I never understood the hype with Jackson. He’s solid, good run stopper, but is limited in coverage. Reminds me more of a Shields/Gunter type than a Harris/Elder type. I’d put him in the 4th-5th round.
He was great last year but has looked so much different this year

Jackson has been getting beat a lot and I mean a lot. I know DB’s get beat but he went from looking like a first round pick last year to a 7th round pick. I said Redwine has been solid he’s been our best db in my opinion. Bandy needs to be more consistent and I think he takes that step next year but I love the way he plays. Johnson has made plays but if he wants to live up to that All American status he needs to make more. He was supposed to be our best db going into the year.

Rumph puts players in the league and is hoing to continue to do so. I get frusterated as much as anybody with his recruiting, but you cant argue with the results. Our defense is championship caliber, and what would our record be without Diaz this year? Half of you wouldnt even of watched the rest of the games because FSU would of slaughtered us. Defense staff is handling business.

Putting guys in the league is nice but you also need to recruit as well and Rumph hasn’t gotten it done. Like I said previously, him and Banda’s money year is next year with 3 db starters leaving.

There was literally no substance in this post, just more "change you can believe in" and nothing to back it as usual.

To me, he’s looked the same. Just less underthrown balls for him to pick off. He is a ballhawk, I’ll give him that. Kinda wonder if he’d be a better safety.

McIntosh and Norton leaving early and DJ transferring had something to do with that as well. Aren’t we near the top of the leaderboard in TFL and sacks? I think the DL is playing relatively well this year.
I like Simpson too, no our dl is definitely the strong point of this team. I’m just worried when Gerald Willis leaves what we do to replace that

Jackson has not been getting beat a lot, the dude worst game was against Toledo where they kept throwing those back shoulder fades, which are hard to defend anyway; he shut down Florida State #1 receiver to like 30 yards, and I don't know what consistency from Bandy you want he is absolute locked down corner who tackles anybody that comes to his side, gets off blocks and rarely makes mistakes, and Johnson will live up to that all american status he just came off an injury, and had his worst game at BC. Now I will agree to get rid of them both depending on how the DBs are next year, since we are loosing a lot of experience; that would be the test to see if there are qualified to be D1 coaches.

We owe Richt $20M and he’s got all the leverage. We can’t force him to do anything.

Richt will walk into that meeting wearing a smoking jacket and velvet slippers, while drinking a glass of whiskey....daring the administration or BoT to do something.

We can only grin and bare the offensive atrocities we are all bearing witness too

Dear God, no.

As a DC, he was very average. As a ST coach, he consistently produced top 25 units.

The year before he came to us, UNC had a top 15 unit.

So, why not? Hes a scout for the Eagles right now.

First two clips were john lovett coached sts.

Is it wrong to suspect the BOT / big boosters could make Blake's tenure a bit miserable, and maybe Richt's also, if "they" don't appear compliant with requests for "improvements" clearly warranted? In fact, I would consider it almost newsworthy if they weren't all ****ed off like CIS, having meetings and sending messages and signals they ain't thrilled with the goings on (or lack thereof).

Most of his career has been as a DB or DC coach. If he's such a ST guru, why hasn't he landed ST gig?

This seems like the norm for Coral Gables.

I know some of you guys out there are god fearing men.
Although I was blessed by the pope at the ND game last year, I'm not (AS fearing), but found this:

Ephesians 4: 32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. ... Colossians 3:13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

I forgive Kendal Briles.
Shouldn't Richt and the Hurricane family forgive as well?

I would try to hire Brett Venables and keep Diaz as DC. Then go out and get a young offensive coach from the Big 12.

Our D would absolutely be nightmarish for other teams in the ACC

Just my two cents...

I doubt anything happens until the end of the season. Let’s see what happens after this team tanks in like 4 or 5 of its last 6 games ( and that’s optimistic). That will force the Admin’s hand after that kind of crash and burn. Everyone and their brother had this team running away with the coastal and getting back to Charlotte.
