All this...especially Redwine, He's made Himself some $$$ this year.

The striker position was implemented over the most recent off season, so your telling me he has been coaching the striker position for 3 years, thats impossible. The dude does more than just coach the striker position.

Not that I agree with that decision, but we have to max-out our recruiting resources.
We don't have nearly as many "intern" as some of the SEC schools.
Who would of/could of picked up the slack?

Which, again, would’ve been foolish if it was over recruiting. You max out over who puts the best product on the field, IMO. If money wasn’t an issue we would’ve done what we needed to do to keep Kool. Whether it was paying him more or hiring more “interns” or whatever. He’s the best in the biz. We went with a cheap hire in Simpson and it seems to be working out so far, but let’s be aware of the idea that “money isn’t an issue” as all I’m saying.

If you need to replace half the staff, then the HC is a failure.

Jackson has been getting beat a lot and I mean a lot. I know DB’s get beat but he went from looking like a first round pick last year to a 7th round pick. I said Redwine has been solid he’s been our best db in my opinion. Bandy needs to be more consistent and I think he takes that step next year but I love the way he plays. Johnson has made plays but if he wants to live up to that All American status he needs to make more. He was supposed to be our best db going into the year.

How many defenses in the country would you trade ours for? Cant believe how some of you dont realize how incredible our defense is. Offensive side gets nothing but 4/5 stars and they cant do ****. Colbert, Dean, Young (if not for injury), Jackson, Bandy, all NFL players under Rumph. I hate losing the top players too, but the defensive coaches are earning their paychecks. We have a championship level defense right now right after the **** show No D left. Offense and special teams are putrid.

I’m not buying into Kool leaving for money. He is making more money ($750K vs $600K, or so I read FWIW), but he didn’t run off to Nebraska. He left because Nick Saban offered. NC rings are nice.

I never understood the hype with Jackson. He’s solid, good run stopper, but is limited in coverage. Reminds me more of a Shields/Gunter type than a Harris/Elder type. I’d put him in the 4th-5th round.
