Honestly if TE is just gonna be a back burner position for Dawson, might as well hire a Special Teams specialist guy and just also give him the TE coach title. Does Brian Schneider (Commanders ASTC) want to jump back to college and fully lead a group. Would probably only be temp job until he gets poached back to the league.

We wanted him to focus on recruiting. But I sorta think you just go back to the devil you know. Especially since he's a pretty good recruiter and has had good results with coaching up the room. All that said if we can pull a big name or an NFL guy that's what will happen.
