Woodiel is Gone

Omg, that's terrible... don't take our ST coach too... that would be an insurmountable loss of elite coaching talent. Please don't take Bauman... he's too good to lose and it'll topple our outstanding TE room.
Wait this is going give me a panic attack but does Bauman have another year of eligibility…? Please say no. lol

He applied for one but I'm pretty sure someone on here said it "wasn't looking good" aka it is looking good haha

Dawson lacks a full playbook. His first half calls were atrocious. He is so **** stubborn. It’s borderline stupid.
I'm convinced our fans just pick a narrative and run with it, logic be damned. No OC is going to scrap an entire gameplan just because it failed a couple of drives in a row. Out of all the things we can complain about from Monday, the offensive gameplan is at the bottom of that list.

The TEMPO we ran with was the one adjustment I would have liked to have seen earlier. Indiana only plays 13 guys defensively, Miami needed to wear them down with tempo, which would have opened up the run game. Dawson should have been going turbo a lot earlier than he did. Had Miami gone tempo earlier, we likely get a drive going, and squeeze a TD in before half. You saw that once Miami started going with tempo, IU started giving up chunk plays. Some of that was them going soft due to having a two score lead, some of that was due to fatigue. When you aren't deep and rely on movement to create pressures, running around with little rest tends to wear you down.

Dawson also needed to be a little more forceful with who he wanted out there on the field. I love Fletch, he was a beast, but changing the rhythm of the tacklers by utilizing Pringle on run plays would have helped. It's about wearing IU down, and when you are used to tackling Fletch, having to deal with a smaller, compact runner is exhausting. Even more Marty Brown would have been welcome, especially as the holes started to widen out.

That's bull. If a guy can play, he will use him. Look at Arroyo. The issue is that I don't believe that Woodiel is a good TE coach.
Bauman dropped every 50/50 ball thrown his way and most of them were 20-30 yards down field. Those alone account for a good 200 yards and I’m sure there is more. If there is a stud at that position Dawson will find him.

I like that Mario is constantly trying to improve even after playing in the last game of the season.

Hartley is the ultimate prize I just don’t see him leaving. He's probably close to a low level HC job soon given his track record for recruiting and development.

TE coach is tough I don’t know all the names who would be impact recruiters - I assume someone from an air Raid tree would make some sense.

Plenty of attrition in the NFL if any great names emerge from the failed staffs

I have to ask. Out of all the players on our roster we couldn’t find a guy who could be a personal protector, with decent speed that could run down the field and make a tackle? Why was Bauman that guy!? We never run fakes anyway so..i don’t understand it
