Wondering if OSU recruits rethinking things right now?

What I’m witnessing are those powerhouse of yesterday are declining while Miami is on the rise .. We can’t ease off the gas for nothing or no one .. Although it’s only Wk 2 and after watching the NCAA landscape. The only team that could concern me is Miami themselves. Errors and mistakes, and letting off our opponents .. I truly believe. 🙌🏻

Losses sometimes are as good as a selling point as wins.

No question we are in good hands with Mario, his players and, of course, the financial supporters of this program.
But I am reading too much overreaction after 2 games.
Let's wait until November until making proclamations.
We still have games to win.
 
Anyone saying it's one game has a short memory. 0-3 last 3 games vs ranked opponents, and there is a blueprint for beating them
 
They still might be in the Top 5 and a loss to an SEC team is greater than a win against an NFL Team

We were not taken seriously until we beat OSU. I'm not going to let that catalyst lose it's value until need be. OSU losses 3 games including the b1G championship game, I'd officially put them in decline. Otherwise, they just lost to the #4 team in the country. (And they have a conditioning problem)

Yeah, be a top 3 team in the nation LMAO y'all can't be serious. Y'all acting like OSU went 0-3 against a blisteringly average Michigan, Clemson, and some 8 win SEC team. They lost to the Natty winners, the Natty challengers, and a Top 5 Texas team. Did we get decommitments after losing our 2nd game of the season to SMU?

I hate OSU just as much as anyone else on this board but this thread is ridiculous. I sure hope they lose a certain recruit to us but it sure isn’t going to happen because of a loss on the road against a top 5 team.

You wanna know how you beat OSU? The last 3 losses prove this right here. Lock up the running game, all the other weapons outside of JJ and you win.

JJ has gotten his numbers in all 3 of these games, and they lost.

VS IU 8 rec 144 yds 0 TD
VS Miami 7 rec 157 yds 1 TD
VS Texas 8 rec 164 yds 1 TD

The rest of the team

VS IU 14 rec 120 yds 1 TD 26 Car 58 yds 0 TD
VS Miami 15 rec 130 yds 0 TD 22 car 45 yds 1 TD
VS Texas 9 rec 144 yds 0 TD 31 car 91 yds 1 TD

They have @Iowa, @IU, @USC, Oregon, and MICH that all of which have the defense that can do this exact same thing and all of them won't be a top 3 team.

You can hang on their nuts like they're unbeatable or even close to the same team they were last year or the year before.

I agree, the brand is established so one game does nothing. Especially a 1pt loss on the road against another top 10 team.

What i DO think matters is the toxic fanbase and how quickly they turn on Day. Its already happening and that group gets pretty nasty, it can be a bit of a turnoff for recruits. Especially if they attend a home game and the crowd starts booing and chanting. Not a huge deal but if a recruit is still entertaining other schools it could be something that tips the scales.
